And who is you??? Do you know who Ustad ji is? Let me tell you, none of these today's commercial tabla player will reach his level. Not Zakir Hussain and NO ONE. He played for Love and these tabla nawazes play for money and fame. He was a gift from God!

That may be true, but you can't judge people like Zakir Ji. Sure they may be famous, but did you know Ustad Ahmedjan Ji had 5 kids and didn't teach any of them tabla because he feared they would be better than him

WHAT?? Is that true??? That is so selfish of him!!!! I would be proud if one of my kids were better than me at tabla if I were him. He was still one of the greatest musicians though. But this just goes to show that sometimes the greatest of musicians my not have been the greatest people.
