I was there. It was a heady experience. Glassboro was a backwater (the NYT called it a "sleepy village"), and still is probably (I don't live there any more).But those days were unforgettable. Even as we realized that what these people accomplished and what we ourselves were, were forgettable.
That was outstanding. I am proud to say that my wife and I are alumni of Glassboro State College, Class of 1975.
