So you combined two areas of study essentially - aos 2 with minimalism and then aos 1 with ternary form. I would NOT call this minimalist at all. There is too much harmonic change. I can hear inspiration from Philip Glass so much.
@amistrymister You may not call this minimalist, but more or less anything that I create for my compositions is dubbed minimalist by many people. There is no real set definition. But you're entitled to not call it minimalist. To be frank, as it goes on, I would have to agree with you.
@TheGrassWhistler Miniamlism is too wide a spectrum tbf. It just means lack of or minimal. This means a 1 motif song is as much minamilism as a single instrument song is or a song in 1 chord.. >.>
But yeh it isn't minimalism in the normal sense. As this has elements which are seen in music such as -- Micheal Nyman or Steve Reich. But Tbf considering that Ludivoco einaudi is considered minamilist due to simple yet beautifull tunes i guess this could count.
yeah, i hear more glass than reich. i believe he prefers the term theater music over minimalism. maybe thats what this is.

@gwhodo90 Actually, Glass uses the term "music with repetitive structures." ;)

@aqtimmy89 that makes sense, maybe what i read was in regards to his more recent soundtrack music.
