i love bmw i have 4 bmws the 325i 1987 , 316i 1994 , 318i 1999 , 545i 2007.

BUT I DONT LIKE THIS CAR!!! THIS 5 SERIES IS ugly, hope the sedan is that if there is something good, I prefer the current 5 series, which is not like me.

They need to work out the problem with the transition between how steep the hood is and when it transitions to the angle of the window - the angle difference is unappealing, to me at least.  And the rear area looks a little bloated/tacky.

Not to be negative, but I do think it's going in a good direction - the lights are bad ass and it's a nice 'thinking-out-of-the-box' concept but some minor things can definitely use some brushing up - glad it's only a concept for now.

So much of what I hear in BMW's marketing anymore is the emphasis on being the first to market with something no one has ever done or thought of.This is done in an effort to say historically, "We were the innovators; we saw the need, thought outside the box, and created an entirely new segment wherein others will follow. Weren't we smart?".So if you hate it now, that's OK, because time will prove they were ahead of their time.But I just want something I can be emotionally connected to now!

Well, I mean I dont think they are thinking correctly. They say that they want to be really different..and they succeded in that; however, it does not look good (especially when you look at it from the side)..its very different but does not look good. I think they rushed without thinking. They are avoiding beauty in the exterior design..and focusing on "just being different" ...bad strategy! I see no beauty in this car..its just the lighting and extra polish is what makes you think "WOW" !

Rear end of this car is hideous, i dont know if this is the next 5 or just a spinoff but im hoping its the latter. The next 5 series better be a true sport sedan and not an overweight lux cruiser. Come on BMW you had it nailed with the E39!
