@RyokaiTheGreat retarded? nah. whenever i use the mp40 i end off inaccurate spraying for some hitmarkers. i prefer using G43 with sights, M1 garand with bayonet, Kar98k with bayonet, M1919 with bipod, scoped Springfield... and do way better with them... but talking about the SMGs? i keep killing mp40 guys with my ppsh drum mag without giving them a chance. Or sometimes chop their bodies with shotguns.

@corveGT1PL All of those are medium to long range weapons..it's completely unfair to compare their accuracy to the MP40's. And if you are beating those dudes with the PPSH, even though it's a great gun, you are only gonna beat the dude using an MP40 if they are noobs (which is sadly a lot of people on WaW, even though it's been out for 4 years -_- ).

I'm not saying World at War is not a good/fun game, but I think it's pretty clear that COD4 is the superior game. WAW doesn't have very much in the way of balance it has very shitty hit detection, and whenever I play there are usually people with God Mode hacks in every lobby.

The FG42 is my favourite gun. Extremely powerful and accurate. It's beastly with a bipod or scope. However, I agree that it chews up ammo way too quickly. I always carry the PTRS-41 with it and I kick ass with it. :D

I wouldn't say the Rifles are under-advantaged, cause the M1A1 Carbine, SVT, Gewher are great if you can aim. The M1 Garand kind of sucks. The recoil is ridiculous and the hit detection seems to suck.

Now, I agree, the MP40 is too OP. The STG-44 is kind of OP since it's kinda strong and has only a bit of recoil. The Type-100 is fairly decent. PPSh is so OP with RD and stopping power.

Although it's under-used the DP kind of kicks ass.

The MP40 is too OP. It is way to overpowered. The STG-44 is average, but it's fire rate is slow (in my opinion anyway.) Type 100 is awesome, I hate the PPSh's low damage.

Don't mind the DP, it's ok, but I always go FG42 instead.

@jamcow3 for balance sake, they made each bullet do a lot of damage and in normal mode, and in close quarters it was unstoppable. seems to be a @noob@ complaint tho. you could counter this by using a different gun and shooting from distance where it was almost useless. OR. play hardcore, where this gun was one of the worst

@jamcow3 It's so unbelievably overpowerd, It does more damage than a rifle even though it's an SMG, it's accurate enough to shoot across a map even with an iron sight, and after 150 kills with it you unlock an attachment that extends its magazine three fold. It's also unlocked at a very low level, making it THE noob weapon.
