However I have something to add to your explanation, the word pagan comes from latin pagus (village), and it was use during centuries to denegrated villagers resilent to convert to Christianity. That's why those Christians of the past also created that dark vision of the pagan way of life.
I went to Gaia's Temple for the first time today and what a blessing to hear Judith again and all the drumming! It's a loving, supportive environment to be in and the trust between everyone who attended was comforting. My gratitude goes to Judith and the great goddess and god!!! Thank you!!! Blessed be!!! )O(
