5610 may be newer but the jack is 2.5mm when the 5310 has a 3.5mm one. if you donno wtf im talking about i mean that you can plug in any headset with the 5310 but with the 5610 you need an extention and i have been using extentions for a year now and they suck. but if you dont care so much bout the music than fuck it, get the 5610.
