  • some fart stole my ancient '45 version of this, along with Daydream Believer, and the Boomerang Song

  • This is by far the best version. I have the "Play" album, digitally remastered. It is an excellent record.

  • First song I knew all the words!! I was 5.

My big sis used to show me off to her Jr. high friends.

    Good times.

  • He was great on the board, but not king out there. OK, he tried. He joined what many consider to be the hardest proof of many, in any person's military.

  • @HateBurns4ever Nope. Ron Wilson, the drummer and singer wrote this about his big brother. I used to have the original of this album, I don't know what happened to it. Probably worth a couple hundred dollars now.

  • Decca Records couldn't/didn't/wouldn't get the Master Tapes of the "Original" Recording , so They had the Surfaris re-record "Surfer Joe" + "Wipe Out" for Their Decca Album , or so I am-told.

  • surferr joeee oh oh ohhh

  • I love this version I'd never heard it till now. The Surfaris are so cool, their second album The Surfaris Play is my favourite.

  • Bob berryhill (Robert Berryhill) is my dad's cousin

  • The LP version is speeded up a little. I have an original vinyl LP copy. But I've not got the 45 version. Both versions are nonetheless great, and are genuine, immortals gems from the era !!
