and i actually like the webcam, it works great in good lighting, the microphone is not so good, but whatever :]

if your willing to dish out 200 to 250(usd's) then yes a netbook is the best option because it has a good deal of ram, the hardrive isnt all that bad, you can get one with a long lasting battery and its small enough to transport effortlessly, if you get lucky it might even be able to fit in your cars glove box lol

3] Glossy Screen will give lots of glare. Antiglare screens were invented just for that purpose. Every damn cheap screen is antiglare these days, except this laptop.

In Canada, Acer One is for sale at BestBuy and Futureshop, for $399.... the hard drive is a 160 gb.... the HP doesn't even compare... how can HP sell this with a 60 gb... they lose lots of customers. Then look at the Toshiba model, it only has a 800x600 screen res. - so it loses out also. At this point, the Acer One is the best buy out there in my mind.

The HP has a 10.2 inch screen, the acer has a 8.9 inch screen. I would rather have a larger screen, than a larger hard drive. These are meant for internet surfing and web processing, not a desktop replacement. 60GB is plenty.
