  • The firing was because of turmoil within the Athletic Department. It was applauded by the NU faithful because of the "gravitation below mediocrity" however. Sorry Harvey, but Pederson didn't do shit except hired Doc Sadler(which wasn't originally planned) and is responsible for the current struggles of the football program.
