  • I'm an owner of a '63 Herbie, and your model is outstanding, real show-stopper material. I had to do a double take on a couple of those pix, very realistic indeed!

Plus, I love building models, you've inspired me to try a mini-Herbie of my own. :)

Dear friend. Thank you very much for your comments about my little Herbie. My younger brother is called Herbie Merlo. I have wanted to have a thing with my brother and I have dedicated the model.

I have plans to build a model based on the version Herbie Nascar, the car shown in the last film that became the famous beetle. I am currently working on building another classic that is a cousin of Herbie, the Meyers Manx Dune Buggy.

A greeting from Spain my friend.

  • They could travel over water.Sorry about the wrong wording.Over water not on top of water

  • Whar a cool car.It is a shame that all cars do not do this.If any at all do this.Future cars should do this though then they could travel ontop of water.

  • WOW! Awesome Job. I took the easy way out by putting together the Johnny Lightening version. LOL, it can't compare to yours, yours is wow, kick ass.

  • Building a Herbie collectible is easy. The hard part is to build a Herbie with a real beetle. But I liked your effort, friend! Congratulations! You built a Herbie in all details, from decals to engine and automotive panel ... I also want one =)

Friend, thank you very much for your comment. Yes, I agree with you to build a real Beetle is more difficult to make a scale model. But it is even more difficult for me to have a real beetle. LOL

If you are really interested, I can build a miniature beetle for you. I'm a fan of modeling for many years, but also ground to build models on commission and write articles for magazines modeling. If you are truly interested, we can talk seriously about.
