I just received word from a longtime friend of Ron's, that he died this morning of systemic cancer. He had been diagnosed last summer.

I remember watching Ron Thompson as a kid. All I had was farmer vision and CKX was the only channel we got most days. I'm glad you posted this video. I had to show my wife Ron's catch phrase. Easy does it.
