wow. that is really eye opening. I don't know what I would do without my mom. breast cancer runs in my family and it is always at the back of my thoughts that something like that could happen. I'm glad that he has such an optimistic outlook and that he put his family first!
very very impressive. beautifully written. inspiring actually, no doubt anyone who sees this who may have judged or not supported you before will be behind you 100% now!!!
awe. kalan, my dear. im so sorry you had to go through this. and hearing the father cry bit.. i know how that is. for 15 years my father had been the big supporting system in our family. i saw him cry twice within 6 months. :( your so strong and amazing. im sure your album will be amazing. and i hope your mom stays healthy. ^_^
great speach. I'm Albetain^.^ (Drive like an albertain(song)) w00t, my grandma had breast cancer and she steped over a huge brick wall that would normally be impossible without climbing but she did it and yay for all these breast cancer support groups!
My sentiments exactly.I'm so glad his mother is doing better, and that he himself is looking healthier and back to his coy, cherubic good looks. His affection for his Alta. hometown (I'm from Edmonton-I know what he means), his family, and esp. his "nagging stagemother" was very poignant and heartfelt. His growing confidence,down-to-earth personality (no doubt instilled by a loving mother) and God-given talent ensures he will always have fans,no matter what he does.;)
Your support in this foundation means the world to alot of people! My mother was diagnosed in June 2006 with breast cancer, and we have supported you 110% throughout your journey! Looking forward to your album and tour!

Wonderful speech, Kalan. I'm so proud of you, and I'm positive that your mom is, too.
I wish you and your family all the best, and I'm so happy to hear that your mom is doing better these days.
And just so you know - the true fans are there ready for the next step in your musical career. :)
