in my opinion....im not a professional musician or anything....but i counted it as 16/8.....just try saying 123456 123456 1234.....i took that from carter's drum count...again,...im not a prof musician....so i can be wrong...pls correct it if anyone knows....i would like to know as well!

@al4986 16/8 can be interpreted as a 8/4 and then into a 4/2 I guess that could make sense.

I realize this is a year late, but it sounds like 6/8 to me... count it, real slow, one... two... three... four... five... six... and it fits. when it gets really 'fast' its just carter slamming out 32nd notes(!) on the bass drums and hardware, but the same 6/8 feel persists.

I was at this show, and this was the first encore song. When they started playing this I remember telling my friend "aw, this sucks... they're gonna play American Baby." Little did we know what was coming... it was fucking awesome. Yeah. I needed the guy on camera telling me that it was gonna be awesome.
