Billy Corgan always seem to go unnoticed. I know he comes across as a bit of a primadonna but c'mon, the riffs he writes are memorable as hell, and he plays pretty awesome leads as well. Cherub Rock? Zero? etc?

I can't believe you picked Buckethead to be #1!!! I don't necessary agree him to be #1 but I love Buckethead big time. His accoustic work in Octave Of The Holy Innocents album with Jonas Hellborg and Michael Shrieve is truly artistic. Don't forge to check Shawn Lane's music. He was massive influence on Buckethead. Listen to "Gray Pianos Flying"
