@sora412zx Probably not. I've heard something resembling "corn chiwa" in many games and maybe even in a movie. Always heard when someone is in pain or something.
@Nixel85 Although what you said is funny, the Parodius series is neither like Hangover 1 & 2, How High, Half Baked, the Harold and Kumar films nor any other film that has anything to do with using drugs and alcohol.
This is actually to Scary Movie 1 thru 4, Hot Shots, Hot Shots: Part Deux, Epic Movie and any other film filled with parodies. The title is a cross between "parody" and "Gradius".
Here's a couple of things I've noticed that hasn't been said yet:
1. Yeah, the game is very kinky. I noticed that Alex (the red pacman thingy) hunts the girls when they fall around 07:35. He chases after them with his tongue waving from his mouth :D. Wonder what else he chases in the same manor, maybe all girls on other levels.
2: The music starting at 07:46 is also in the C64 game,Yie Kung Fu and the character at 09:19 is probably the one you play as in that game (arcade version I think).
the bells are kinda special powerups, if they're shot they change color and their effect changes. Yellow just gives points, but every other color does something strange but helpful, like make you invulnerable and huge or give you a super bomb
The bells remind me of the bells from another Konami game, Stinger (AKA Twinbee). They work the same way to. You shot them and the color will determine what you get like blue is speed, white is double, pink is lazer etc.
@PvtCaboose001RvB They should, they're a direct reference! Good on you to catch that. Parodius takes a lot of concepts (and characters) from all over Konami's games.
I loved playing Stinger as a kid that's how I knew about the bells. Stinger is a fun game and I should get it for my Nintendo so I have my own copy. As for the other Konami references, I wasn't paying attention, however if I see the video again and look for them I'm sure I'll see them.
I've played a lot of Konami games since I was a kid. What can I say, they're one of my favorite game companies. :)

Sorry to say that the entire mission ended in failure, but at least we get to see a rare Parodius game in full. Nice try.

Koitsu is an anagram is Koitus and Corn Chiwa looks like a dick with a face LOL
The Medusa at the ends sounds like she's orgasming when you shoot her, and the creature after that has a giant nutsack LOL
Besides that, this ain't exactly Hentai. WTF is "sexy" about it?

When I saw this, I kept remembering "Power Pig" from the old Garfield cartoons. Just watch the beginning of this:
