You can get upgrades to Mac operating systems (Tiger, Leopard, Lion, etc) through a CD, but you can also upgrade minor updates for free whenever you want (if they are already there). And since Mac is expanding and growing every day many companies are making their software and games compatible with OSX.

True...but if we stayed with what were used to, we wouldn't even be using a computer...i.e., it'd still be paper and pencil. I do agree that learning something new is sometimes scary, but hey...so is getting a job. If anything, it's easier to learn Linxu because you can run it in a virtual machine for Free! You've got nothing to lose, just some time.

Alright...for the four thousandth time...Google is USING Linux! Google is NOT creating it's own OS, Android and Chrome are built on LINUX! Apparently, even Google thinks Linux is number one, otherwise they would have used BSD(Mac) or NTOS(Windows). Google releases patches to the Linux kernel regularly to support the community. I see Google as more of a, "Hey..this thing actually is useful!" kinda company not a, "The more you pay the better it is!" kinda company.
@mastermind7373 I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Google recognizes the fact that Microsoft is a competitor and it's just good business to not use a competitors stuff when it can be avoided. Not saying that's the only reason but there are always multiple factors that we should all look at.

We were very unimpressed and once we upgraded hard drives (shortly afterword) we did not go back to using Linux. I am busy enough without trying to make stuff work on Linux and windows has always done the job well.
macs rule!!! Sure you cant play many games on them but c'mon thats why sony,nintendo,and microsoft is around for games. Also I know microsoft and sony create laptops and computers.
