I'm not sure what point he was trying to make about abortion but chicken eggs, as far as the ones you cook and eat are in fact NOT the same thing as chicken fetuses. Chicken eggs are produced regularly with or without the fertilization provided by the rooster and normally there is no rooster present in the process of acquiring the eggs we eat for breakfast or whatever.
