i'm having trouble cleaning the bowl of the new version. it has stains from the sticky shisha of the previous user and i can't get it out. does anybody have an idea?
@mi4301 I like Dr Green bong cleaner, although Roor ISO based cleaner is great it needs rinsing well to avoid leaving a taste in the bowl. If all else fails, use ISO soaked q-tips. Also, do it when the bowl is warm for easiest cleaning but dont burn yourself.

You HAVE to read the instructions and you HAVE to, ABSOLUTELTY HAVE to use butane with zero or very little impurities. like Colibri for example. The butane you use can make the difference between it working and it not working. It is a very small delicate mecanism so any impurities can clog it in which case it will stop working and then you will have to clean it.

@StrongPimpin how strong can you be pimpin if you can't get an iolite to work? Not very I'd say. I love my iolite. I have had it for a year now and I love it. I just bought the optimizer and I love it even more. My sister has one and so do two of my friends. We all love ours.
I bought the new iolite and its a piece of crap! it wont work and ive sent for a replacement and the replacement wont work either. Im so fed up with iolites.
SHAKE the butane before and SHAKE the unit before lighting as well.
Keep it clean and do not use it in the pouch.
Trust me friend it will work. If you have a bad butane in it let it run out then fill it with a high grade butane. I use Vector Quintuplus. I have had mine for 10 months and I use it everyday once or twice a day. But you should really only use it when you're out and about.
@WCinVegasBaby Question for you. Do you have the optimizer? that 3 pronge thing for better heating? im debating whether i should get it and if it really makes a difference. Id like someones opinion on it before i purchase it. thanx.
@bettermaxim I just bought an optimizer. Before the optimizer I would smoke a bowl and then mix up the herb and smoke it later on to get a bump as my high was coming down. But with the optimizer it burns all of the THC out of my herb in one bowl. I used it before I went to see a double feature at the movies and I was high for the entire 3 hours, when before I would have to get a bump during intermission. I found one on Amazon for $14.95. Totally worth the normal $19.99 regular price.
yes, install three extra gauzes to hold the eliquid or put some cotton wool into the bowl to hold it. Also you can cut eliquid to around 25% strength for the same level hit as you get with an ecig. THe Iolite has a much stronger hit.

Use a 5 times filtered butane (butane is key)
SHAKE the butane before and SHAKE the unit before lighting as well.
Keep it clean and do not use it in the pouch.
