The musicians that come out of Thornton aren't the end all and say all in music my friend. Granted, you guys have some rockin professors that I've had and will continue to have the privelege of studying with, but just cause you go there doesn't mean everything, and that goes for any school/conservatory. Working on my MM at CSUF with good friends of your professors.. see you in a year or so for my DMA over there. We can have a nice lil chat.

@Homerjay66666 isn't he the guitarist for anthrax??? Superaxe came to my school this year and were rippin. I think that maybe 1 of the guys are the same. Superaxe is definnately an interesting perf group. A guitar quartet playing more contempory type stuff.

these guys stink- no offense- but such a dramatic display of mediocre playing. I disagree, I dont even think this is even technically complicated. Plus no soul. Sounds like a few bad attempts at country guitar and a bad attempt at sounding like allan holdsworth.

I think that was a very good attempt, at holdsworth style playing,

just the fact that you thought it was holdsworths style made it better than a bad attmpt to me...

now honestly though there were a few too many mistakes..

i love the introduction !!! "these guys have the skill with music notation software" well that's just it...

except for the solo the tones are really uneffective and the styles so complicated you can't hear what the ideas in the music are.
