i thort the 223 wssm was bad with throat erosion more so than 22/250. i know some have a crome barrle witch helps but not quite as accurat with a crome barrle. also you can only get winchester brass for it. intresting looking round and would love to have a go on one but dont realy want to own one.

I've got a 223WSSM (winchester super short magnum) that's slightly hotter than a 220 swift without the barrel burning tendencies, and I bagged 6 point a touch over 200 yards with a 64g bullet it this year. Did more damage than my 20 gauge. Wouldn't even bother using it for rabbits. There would be nothing left! Don't even think the remains would be suitable for the coyotes!
