@lillalilaprick Yep - they don't always film episodes in the order they are broadcast. Like David says when they were filming Doomsday, Billie still had five more episodes to shoot at that point. That doesn't lessen the emotional impact of that Doomsday scene, and both David and Billie were complete wrecks as it was being filmed. But the final scene of Satan Pit was the last one the two of them actually shot together as Doctor and companion. They were a mess then too, though ... :-)

thank you for not cutting the very end off. I think it makes the entire scene so much more powerful when you see that she was really crying and it too a minute for her to stop. That is how much emotion they had in the scene. Plus getting to see David all sad in the car and then just comforting her at the end. Thank you. Missing them both.

This was so sad. You saw how David was upset and grumpy looking in the car. He wanted to comfort her and you know it, but he couldn't. And afterwards you could tell that he was holding that hug back the entire time.

And luphenex, you are completly right. The intensity of that scene was amazing.

It's how they film it all out of sequence that impresses me - how do you get the emotional intensity for a scene like that knowing you'll be filming more stuff afterwards and it's not the end for you as an actor. Deeply moving!
