  • What Ram Stick did you used?

  • Just look under "About This Mac" and then "More Info", it will tell you the RAM model under "Memory"

  • Thanks alot it kinda helped alot!

  • Thanks! I did see that other sites recommend removing the battery first as well... (which is easy to do -- just put in a coin or screwdriver into the 'lock'/'unlock' slot, and it pops out)...

  • So i gather there is 2 memory stick slots? is it easy enough to remove the first stick and replace it?

  • where's the best place to purchase RAM for a powerbook? please reply, thanks!

  • I buy mine at Best Buy, but Tiger Direct and New Egg might be a bit cheaper. Buy third party RAM and install it yourself. This might void your warranty, but it's a LOT cheaper.

  • Thanks alot!

  • I'm sorry, but I have another question! My powerbook G4 has "512 MB 'DDR' SDRAM." However, when I go to the Apple website and try to purchase RAM, it is "DDR2." So I was wondering if it would work on my mac? Thanks very much.
