  • GOD can forgive...but u were never superman!

your a soldier in the army of the lord who made a mistake!

but Tyes wife cheated on him as well and 2 wrongs dnt make a right...where is her apology?dnt try aind make it seem like after u told her u cheated everything is alright...say she cheated on u as well! if u gonna tell the truth..tell the WHOLE truth

  • THIS ALONE IS WHAT WE NEED IN THE BODY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

  • Much respect!!!! You ministerd to me with your testimony.

  • This was a great interview, I am glad that God restored him.

May everyone be blessed and encouraged.

  • this is very beneficial!

  • People need to understand that lust does not have a conscience. Anyway your willing to carry out its desire it doesn't matter what type of sin it is. It could be adultery, porn, rape, masterbation, peeping Tom,child pornography, beastiology, prostitution, and so...lust is a powerful weapon and we all fall short to it sometimes. Matter fact the more obedient u r to God the more the devil will try. Satan tempted Jesus remember? We can't judge this man at all! The Bible is full of righteous men who fall!

  • This needed to be heard from his own mouth...Awesome Tye!!

  • Wow. Powerful testimony.

  • Not only is he a man of God he's a REAL MAN!! Only real men can admit there wrong and go on with there lives trying to do right in spite of the people or road blocks trying to keep them where they once were, I love and respect Tye more now for this. God bless Tye Tribbett and his family!!

  • WOW even great men of God can fall. Lord help us to resist temptation daily! The best part about this is that like David Tye REPENTED! When we sin let us not dwell on it and feel guilty for the rest of our lives about it. Let us confess it and REPENT. Thank you God for this....

  • if u listen to him u will hear him say his wife is not here ( on the set) ---ALSO... LET HIM THAT IS WITHOUT SIN-CAST THE FIRST STONE

  • I have a BAD feeling that he(we) may not see the wretchedness of adultry being that he originally only wanted to sit down for 60 days. That said I have heard the tears of a woman who had found out her mate was CHEATING on her for 10 years. Death horrifying hicup cries from the pit of her stomach.Cries u never want to hear(r.kelly woman fed up) Correct me if I'm wrong but it's NEVER excusable. Also ladies stay on point and make sure ur man stays "worn out" where he has no NRGY ..get the drift.

  • Is the woman in the stripe shirt is wife?

  • It happens. Men and women do it. U just have to confess ur sins to God and change ur ways.

  • is that his wife???

  • Comment removed

  • @Andrestheking18 of course JESUS is LORD, what are u talking about??

  • BUT WHEN WOMEN DO IT IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD BUT MEN THINK THAT THEY CAN DO IT AND ITS RIGHT

  • NIGGAS AINT SHIT NO MATTER HOW U SLICE IT..........

  • @mixedchick105 All I can say about that is that nobody's perfect. At least he could admit what he did unlike so many of our brothers and sisters out there.

  • Tye I really thank God for your testimony it has really blessed me. Be encouraged, and I pray for the strength of God for you and your family.

  • @poet9000 stop being bitter about a marriage youre not even involved in. he made a mistake. his wife was the one who decided to forgive him for his infidelity. its not your job nor mine to pass judgement on the situation. just try to find the message/lesson through what he failed to uphold. dont assume about a situation you werent even apart of. 20 years from now they are going to be stronger than alot of marriages out there that have never been tested with a real trial

  • Heys so humble

  • much respect to Tye for keeping it real. Way too many people in the church are walking around with masks trying to cover up their short-comings, yet God sees all! Thank you for posting!

  • The prodical comment almost made me go in! That was deep. Wow.

  • I have respect for anyone who is willing to come forth and admit it and make things work then to deny and make people believe it is not real......so many fake people, He's the truth!

  • that ole ugly mug had the audacity to cheat ... smh

  • @swimsis GOD BLESS YOU

  • All I have to say to @all4onej5 is this... ONLY God knows what's in a man's heart... if God left that up to us we all be in bad shape... it is our job as the body of Christ to uplift one another, his infidelity was brought into the open, dealt with, and forgiven... does he need our forgiveness NO! His sin and wrongdoing was against God, his wife and his family...

  • I want them to make it. Family is so important!

  • brother is real. If all Gospel artists would do like this brother, instead of expecting Jesus to endorse their sins, the Gospel message would be WAY more respected worldwide as a ministry, as opposed to mere entertainment. People would actually come to the altar on BET Awards, as opposed to just clapping hands @ some good singing.

  • His testimony brought a sense of peace to me tonight… to hear truth has brought freedom. Real talk before, during or even after will bring restoration especially when we listen to the voice of the Lord.

  • The goal of a saint is not to be SINLESS , but to SIN LESS AND LESS the way we become perfect is when we shead the ingredient that make the SIN which is the FLESH.. remeber no good thing dwells withih the flesh.. Its impossible not to have sinned because we all wherer born into sin. REMEMBER this there would be no commendenation to those who love the LORD... STOP jugding and pray for whoever you feels need prayer

  • Everybody need to go read 1 Corinthians 6

  • ADULTERY IS A PREMEDITATED ACT!

  • @Hyacinth600 Thank YOU!!!

  • This dude just need to be filled with the Holy Ghost...all that fake speaking in tongues and shouting...

  • @all4onej5 u need 2 read ur word just because u sin doesnt mean ur not filled wit the holy ghost God sent a comforter 2 us all but who r u 2 state he doesnt have it R works r of filthy rags wow save ppl trip me out GOD STATED JUDGE NO MAN B4 HIS TIME ONLY GOD HAS THE RIGHT ITS PPL LIKE U WHO 4GETS GODS GRACE AN MERCY HE W/O SIN PLS CAST THE 1ST STONE U NEED 2 STOP FAKIN AN PLS BEGAN 2 REALLY SHOW GODS LUV 4 THE BIBLE SAYS GOD IS LUV KEEP IT REAL AN IF UR PERFECT PLS I WLD LUV 2 MEET U

  • @1sassymsboo aw wow lol i don't even know where to begin commenting back on this comment. But let me start off by saying i never said i was save and feel with the Holy Ghost, but i'm seeking. Therefore, i am a sinner but i don't practice sin, it's a difference. Secondly, since you want to say people like me, it's people like you that's easily deceived. I have been in holiness all my life and know the difference when someone shout 4real and speak in tongues 4real. This guy don't.

  • @all4onej5 Just be quiet. Apart of your seeking should be really digging in your word and being able to truly discern. ALSO! it is not your job to be judgmental. If you heard his testimony and seen his ministry, you'll know that it is real. Look to God and not man in general. Be blessed and don't judge. Seek Him and Him alone!

  • @TheKingharris17 be quiet for what??? For speaking the truth??? Maybe you should dig in the Word to learn what judging is. I didn't say that he was going to hell or that he was going to be cast in the lake of fire. I said he needs to be filled with the holy ghost and that's not judging. Everybody has a testimony and some ministry is not always true. Like I said I know the difference between real and fake.

  • @all4onej5 Discernment is key. He is filled with the holy ghost and he isn't fake. We must all understand that we must crucify our flesh on a DAILY basis and we must make choices daily as well. Just because he fell doesn't mean it was fake or that he is fake. King David is probably the greatest example. He committed adultery, doesn't mean he was fake. Thank God for his mercy and deliverance. Can't sit here and call it fake. Be Blessed

  • @TheKingharris17 according to you you told me I was judging by saying he needs to be filled with the holy ghost but yet you said he is filled with the holy ghost. According to you isn't that not judging??? If a person is walking close to God that person will NOT sin because of their relationship with God. But the Bible says IF we sin a have an advocater who is Jesus. It didn't say WHEN we sin but IF. That's why it's important to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh.

  • You don't fall into the lap of another woman, there is flirting, inappropriate conversations and meetings and then the culmination of all that work...adultery! You can't put yourself in a situation and then pretend that you didn't have control over it...this is nonsense! It's like now he's acting like since this has happened, he realizes that accepting, emails, texts, etc. is not the best course of action-when in fact this was known in the beginning when he knew that he was feeling her!

  • Thats his sister. And former GA member and she sings on Team Fresh!

  • wow! i'm sitting here thinking about my own sins, and right when i started to get down, tye talks about restoration and the prodigal son around 12:36; i remember that i'm restored in Christ Jesus!!! thank you for this message!!!! God Bless!

  • people can say what they want about tye but hes one of FEW pastors that can actually admit their faults and not act as though their squeaky clean

  • her come on nows are verrrrry annoying lady shut up u r not in church! please let him talk! goodness!

  • As a man coming from a broken home, without a father to show me how to be a man... I realize my role in life. I am called to start a group for married couples seeking divorce, marital issues, or seeking to be married. To also help anyone who's been through this with a big brother in Christ program. I also know that I am called to ministry through music. Find your calling, and serve God. The closer you get to Him... the more you serve Christ in serving others, the void within is filled with God.

  • i dont know about everybody else but what light shines from this brother is what i need in my life the spirit of God ,shining throught the truth , will set you free and changing and taking a look at mistakes is what we need to do to heal and i was so touch by his truthfullness , We need this Lord, thank you for using him to server a highter purpose ,Thanks for youtubing this ,thanks ty for not hiding behind the sin but exposing it for the better Cause which is to gloify God Amen

  • It is good for Mr.Tribbett to be truthful. One correction: committing sin does not "validate" your call to minister. Thank God for His grace, but we don't have to sin in a particular area to minister effectively in that area.

  • @ChurchLove333 I"M IN LOVE WITH THIS COMMENT. I use to think the opposite of that statement.

  • All have sinned and come short and guess what no one is perfect. But this is for Tribbetts and GOD! No one has the right to judge them but to learn from their experience.

  • Respect!

  • Tye, your attitude is to applaud, for God loves repentance .Despite the degree of our sins, when we are sincere and honest towards God , others and ourselves, when we show the humility, God will forgive us and restore us above what we used to be. But He resists to the proud.

God bless you and your family Tye!

  • Bottom line...any of us could fall into a situation like this. People sin (fornicate, cheat, lie, steal, gossip, murder etc.) everyday, but it's harder when ur in the public eye. I believe Tye is remorseful and is insightful in how his infidelity started. Sin is a choice and unfortunately he chose the wrong thing, but I still love his music and ministry. His testimony will bless many.

  • Much respect to Tye for this

He didn't start off by giving an excuse. He kept it biblical and told the truth.

Our own lusts draws us into sin. I didn't have to hear anymore of his interview.

God bless him for that testimony and setting example to folks of how not to make excuses and saying that everybody sins. Because that is not the point

  • that was not God ALLOWING them...but moreso them making choices!!!! we all make choices and everyone has issues w/i themselves, but don't make it God's way that WE decided to cheat. Praise God for his transparency to come clean and it's a contrite and repentant heart that God does not despise. But, let's be clear, he said "lay aside every weight and sin that so easily besets us." Your choice!!!

  • To judge this man is sin in an of itself, Christ died for these same situations. We have the ability to go day to day without sin but it takes constant communication with the Holy Spirit, letting his will take control of your every move. Sexual sin should be the first thing you let God take away from you, once you stop sinning against your body Jesus will start to transform you into his image and likeness.

  • Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1Cor 10:12-13

  • tears falling down my cheeks, sniff, sniff. What a powerful testimony.

  • just goes to show that there is power in transparency, thank you Tye for your testimony, much respect to you!! Keep up the great music!!!

  • So glad that God is not like us, He never turns us away! Thanks Jesus :)

  • ewww his beard

  • I respect Tye for owning up to what he did. Now if we could just get more leaders within the body of Christ to be as transparent....

  • I HAVE MUCH RESPECT FOR YOU BROTHER, YOU ARE A REAL MAN IN MY EYES, AND GODS EYES ,BELIEVE THAT !!

  • Tye Tribbet is REAL! Every man makes mistakes, but it takes a Real man to admit then. No one is perfect. Tye is in the spotlight, but he is only human. God forgives him just like God forgives us.

  • Praise God for his testimony...i don't like what happened but at least this minister admitted his wrong doing. I pray he walks right. We still love you Tye

  • I love this video! I dont agree with sin but i love that he steps up and says yes i did it, i messed up, he never says it was ok, he just says that he learned through it and he says he wont do it and tells others who are thinking about it not too...yes Jude tells us that God is able but the Bible also tell us that if we IN OUR FLESH N NOT WALKING N THE SPIRIT sin that God is a forgiving God and we can repent...He speaks against sin while helping those who have and r n lettin em know u can stop

  • Love this! To God be all the glory!

  • Daniel 6:3-4 KJV "Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him." I could go on...you must read and study the entire word.

  • Job 1:1 KJV "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil."

  • Romans 6:1-2 KJV "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" No go read and study Romans 6, 7 and 8. When you are done tell me why your perspective on sin and perfection is wrong. The word will never contradict itself. Now wiggle your way out of this one. James 3:2 KJV

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole.

  • @keynote43 show me in the scripture where is says no one can be perfect but God....I can show you about 100 scriptures where Christ commands us to be perfect. If we have God's perfect spirit (Holyghost) in us how can no one be perfect? The blood of Christ JUSTIFIES us...meaning makes up the difference...nvm you won't even understand. That's why I urge people to study the scripture. You can live sin free from the moment you are saved. The word backs up that notion as well. Now take the WHOLE word

  • he who is without sin should cast the first stone...the real issue in that situation was that the man the woman committed adultery with was not being punished. Also Christ was speaking to Jewish leaders who did and lived any kind of way and did not follow the law themselves. READ THE WHOLE BIBLE AND STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED as someone already mentioned. These type of things should be clear to Holyghost filled folks. In the ladder days many shall come saying here is Christ...not so tho.

  • How can God allow you to sin?! And how can the situation VALIDATE your ministry...this dude is a joke. Moses killed because he thought that was how he was to deliver God's people. He killed defending the people of God smh this guy is a joke. And we are not sinners...we all HAVE sinned. That is past tense. If God puts His perfect spirit in you, you should be without sin. The problem is that most people that claim to have the Holyghost really don't...and please stop quoting the scripture about

  • @tbensonc yeah we all HAVE sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but nobody is completely WITHOUT sin. that's impossible. that's why Christ died. nobody can be perfect. ONLY God can be perfect. but we can STRIVE for perfection. before you can speak on certain topics, make sure you do your research and really pray to UNDERSTAND what it is you are actually reading. the bible itself says that we sin on a daily basis, but thanks to God... we get second, third, and fourth chances.

  • HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE, BUT THANK GOD FOR THE BLOOD OF JESUS. BECAUSE OF OUR BAD CHOICES GOD GIVE US ANOTHER CHANCE WHEN WE REPENT. GOD BLESS!!!!

  • I want him to stay encouraged in the Lord. Give him strength Lord . We are all sinners we cannot throw stones at him. God help us all.

  • WHo would cheat with him? He must have a great personality...

  • she just doesn't know enough about the bible to even speak on it. just to reiterate what everyone else said, the Lord doesn't ALLOW people to sin, He gives you the free will to make the right descision and if you don't; its on you! so disregard her statement because obviously she needs to be in the Word more.

  • Its so funny how people think they know the bible so well that they can jus judge people on Youtube. Everyone has their own relationship with god. 400 years ago we didn't even know God as we do now. People please. find your own way and stick with it. God knows your heart the rest is jus money making crap that we se in the tabloids.

  • "God allowed u n ur wife??"

    excuse me??

    God never allows sin

    lady watch ur tongue......

  • All I understand about God is that what ever he does it for my good. There are many things i don't understand about God. But God never said understand me he said trust me. And thats what i do. I'm a perfect...NO and won't be until that "Great Day" but until them i'm going to fall my little flawed self on my knees every night and pray for those that need God and that he keeps me because i know I'm just one compromise away from this very sin. Thank God Amen.

  • I respect him for talking about this.... He really does not have to explain himself though.

  • God does not ordain sin for someone's life. It wasn't a "test", it wasn't a "trial" or a "storm". It was his own lust (James 1:13). Yes he is forgiven, but people have to understand there are consequences for your actions and he's gonna have to reap that back (Galatians 6:3). when David sin against God he was forgiven, but for his transgression God said the sword would never leave his house. So people need to keep that in mind

  • I LOVEEE TYE TRiBETT.iM GLAD THEY ARE WORKING ON THEiiR MARRiAGE.

  • I love the fact that this brother is truthful! and confessing his sin! God is good, he will be blessed, we will all fall short to the glory of God.

  • @JBlovers303 Amen @ your comment

  • DON'T BLAME '' LUST '' BLAME '' YOU ''

  • was this tit for tat , didn't his wife have an affair first ? don't make it right but

  • I love the honestly, but it's down graded with the joking. This is a very serious issue. I pray they make it.

  • @vrussell01 :Me too! At least he's honest.. It's almost like being fat and losing weight.. Getting a whole set of attention..

  • He was wrong (hence the word WAS). Mad respect for his honesty. Imagine the others in the for-front of ministry who haven't been exposed yet. No justification for doing wrong, because we have to battle for victory over the flesh and temptation.

  • Thank you Tye, Your message helps me to not fall in that direction. I am a Gospel artist/writer. God can make you white as snow. Your confession is worth more than your sins to me. I will continue to pray for you and support you because you have now grown from your humility. I was always afraid to do as God told me to do because I was afraid that I am not good enough to do the will of God. I was afraid that I would dissapointment to others. Your situation will make you stronger.

  • Tye Tribbett helped me change my life through his music. I would honestly be dead if God hadn't lead me to Mr. Tribbett's music and an abundance of miraculous blessings. This video makes me appreciate him even more.

  • I enjoy the word thru Tye Tribbett, I pray he will continue 2 stay broken & humble. Just Pray dont gossip Thank U

  • How can you Speak against adultery and YOU ARE STILL COMMITTING ADULTERY!! HYPOCRITE!! Shoot I just preached to my hypocritical self as well. SMH! Lord help us all. May we all resist our nasty flesh so that we may glorify you in holiness.

  • Comment removed

  • Praise God! I often hear and see so many people waste the opportunity to minister yet instead we operate in the carnality of our thinking. SIN is a state of a condition in which we ALL are found guilty of. For this cause Jesus Christ died. Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. It is God that restores, delivers, saves and makes free. So glad that God is not like man. Read Proverbs 24:16 Let us stay prayful & mindful that we watch daily not to fall

  • Are are all the gospel artists cheating?, I am only asking that because J,moss and through his cheating he produce a child by a 19 yr old, Da truth, Canton Jones...I glad he repented, and all is well with him, I am in no wise judging him...just asking this seems to be a pattern with gospel artist...

  • @enforcerofthelaw When did he bash gay people? Are you referring to him saying "come out of homosexuality" on that song called "Victory"? If so, that's hardly gay bashing.

  • orcerofthelaw (Sep 8, 2011)

    I don'

  • That was awesome!!! Thank you for your honesty!!!! The stuff that's not talked about but should be!!!

  • This interviewer is getting on my nerves! Too animated. Chill...

  • Thank you for being honest tye lust is no joke. another woman is not the only way to cheat on your wife, you can cheat through porn, even looking with intent to have intercourse is adultry it's hard sometimes but thank you jesus for the cross else we will all be lost.

  • GOD DOES NOT "ALLOW" US TO SIN - WE ARE DRAWN AWAY BY OUR OWN DESIRES AND LUST, LADY PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!

  • @emp2255 You say, "I am allowed to do anything"--but not everything is good for you. You say, "I am allowed to do anything"--but not everything is beneficial. 1Cor 10:23

if God didnt allow us to sin we would all be dead because he would have no choice but to take back the life he has given us. All sin that we enter into is made by a decision of our own whether it be by our lusts or desires.

  • @emp2255 and who is it that ALLOWS us to be drawn away? GOD.remember Job? God had a convo with the advesary and said "have you considered my servant Job"? He ALLOWED the enemy in to test his servant. If the servant faulters..will he rise again? Yes! We fall down but we get up..a Saint is just a sinner who fell down BUT didnt stay there..HE GOT UP

  • @emp2255....if u read da scriptures,God DOES "allow" u2 sin. What r u talkn about? Did God "allow" Adam & Eve 2 sin? Yes. Did He "allow" Cain 2 kill Abel? Yes. Did He "allow" Moses 2 sin when he murdered da Egyptian 4 beating his Hebrew brother? Yes. Did He "allow" Moses 2 sin when he hit da rock after He told Moses 2 speak 2 da rock? Yes. God does allow sin,"BUT" a final price WILL b paid. Its written,"CHOOSE" ye this day whom ye will serve". Love is a CHOICE. He creates u & "allows" u2 choose.

  • @emp2255 you are so right. since the beginnin we've had FREE WILL. God didn't allow adam & eve to sin. they had free will to do so. but God in His all-knowing wisdom KNEW it was going to happen so He had a plan of salvation in place. God can use a sinful situation to bring forth something good, or help others. david killed uriah & married bathsheba. first child died. 2nd child was solomon. one of the wisest kings. so, God can use a sinful situation for good. gotta be careful how we say things.

  • @emp2255 Nevertheless God sees over the whole of this and sees how sometimes though HE warns us we may stray and do the wrong thing but it's not just the sin or the action but IF we fall., God can use that to show us what roots need to be cut off and where the issue really stems from in our childhood or upbringing so we can overcome these things and live in Victory and help others that are also struggling and be fervent in getting rid of those skeletons in our closet.

  • @emp2255 OF course repentance is key and letting GOD cleanse our hearts no matter how painful it may seem. I know this one thing, GOD restores the years that the locust have eaten not because we deserve it but because His grace abounds where sin abounded and He just crushes all the works of the devil in our lives and by His kindness leads us unto repentance.

  • I'm glad that he kept it 100

  • im guessing this is in north carolina

  • @VincetheConqueror1 Look at the wall behind Tye...

  • I don't care that he cheated, it happens..... I just hope before he bashes gay folk again he will have some type of compassion. Now I bet he understands EVERYBODY is human now.

  • I understand what many of you are saying about Tye bringing this upon himself and his refercne to God bringin him through a "trial". The word of God says, "those whom He loves he chastises". Everything that happens under the heavens is either ordained or allowed by God. Which means, though Tye made the decision to commit adultery, God allwoed Him to do so, in order that he might be chastised and learn from his mistake. This is the test or trial he was speaking of. And Tye gives God the glory.

  • For those who are disappointed to hear this, ask yourself what sin do you struggle with & aren't speaking to anyone about. I.e. same sex attraction, porn, etc. This is an example of what many godly men AND women who sit in church(es) & are too afraid & ashamed to be able to go someone & admit their struggle for fear of someone judging them. Remember he's human like you & I & prone to mistakes. Too often we put them up on that pedestal (idols) which brings them to their fall instead of praying

  • @beautyfortherose Thank you for helping pthers to see the big picture. God is epitome of love, forgiveness, and patience. Which is a quality that we all must aspire to have. Tye understands the imporatance of repentace and testimony which he demonstrates by very publicly discussinn his personal walk wiht God. The word of God, in Ephesians 4:29 says, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but [what] is good for building up...that it may give grace." Lets build Tye up, not tear him down!

  • @deathtobasic91 Amen. Unfortunately judging has been the bus far too long & thus the reason why we have the world saying "if that's what it's about, I don't want to be a part." Too many times we've gone to church & cast the stone when we should be pulling the plank out of our own eye first. C'mon, time is way TOO short to be putting a brother/sister down. Those in the world are watching how we are going to react this - what will be your reaction? It's time to do the Christ-like right thing!

  • keep making good music. who u sleep with is your business. u only have to answer to GOD!

  • I think the host presented that thought in the manner of "God Allowing." Some times we miss the fact that David & Solomon were not priest. Priest were held to a higher standards than kings. Yet those Kings earned the favor of God by their contrition. It's mystery of love to me.

  • JESUS and Joyce!!! HILARIOUS! I love it! Thanx for your honesty Tye! Being KINGDOM is not just being or living holy, but also learning and growing! We can either be a good example or or bad warnig! So let's use this testimony to learn from, NOT use as judgement. So people let's pray more, gossip less, talk less, listen more, and learn more!

  • Tye....I am praying for you BROTHERj....keep doing what you do....AT least you have the sense to admit your wrong and DEAL with what you have done. GOD forgives and he has got your BACK and he will GIVE you and your wife the STRENGTH you need. I pray for her hurt to be taken away. GOD keep you both!

  • Said t right,songwriter..

  • Tye Tribbett is a church playing hypocrite. He should have felt Holy Ghost dealing conviction when he first thought about doing it. He needs to get saved.

  • HIS WIFE LOOKS LIKE SHE READY TO SLAP THE SHIT OUT IF HIM, SH HASNT FORGIVIN HIM LOL

  • @ctblackness2 That's not his wife!

  • Tye, my brother, wowwwwww, HOW MUCH MORE REALER (if thats a word, lolll) CAN YOU GET THAN THAT??? I really appreciate the realness and transparency of you and your testimony!!! Thank God for you and your wife!!! Thank God for restoration!!! Stay low and humble, my brother!!! God will continue to lift you higher and higher!!! Be blessed!!!

  • I love how transparent he is being on this interview!

  • Thank you Tye for being so honest and transparent!! I love your ministry and support 100%!!

  • we all fall short yes but the bible says God doesnt tempt us because he himself cant be tempted. his infedelity was a choice and he is making it seem that this was the only way he could become broken before the Lord or qualify for the blood. that unfortunate but from the sounds of it he repented praise God

  • All this talk about transparency.... Anyone can be transparent after you get busted. Flee? He should have fleed when he had the chance... Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing.

  • @TheWillieG. just a quick comment, his transparency in this situation is needed because he messed up not because he's getting it right all the time. no one is perfect and sometimes we hold a standard to people that we ourselves don't follow. "when" he came clean is not the issue, look how long it took the prodigal son. Jesus was/is the only one who got it right the whole time He was here. Be used by God to reach sinners cause people are dying in sin everyday all day. Be blessed.

  • He speaks/sounds like T-Pain...

  • It's called "adultery"...We need to stop watering down sin and confession to suit our public relations and media presence on a personal level and a professional level. We are all lying, cheating, horrible wretches and the only One who redeems us and cleanses us is Jesus Christ...not our articulation and illusions of having it all together. Not our talents, skills and abilities. We need to stop trying to save ourselves and let Jesus do the saving. My prayers are with him and his family.

  • Praise God.. i'm glad you came out of it... there were a lot of good things pointed out here... bless you and may the Lord cover you and your family.

  • This is why the Gospel music entertainment industry has gone to hell. I hate it. I wish real committed disciple of Jesus would come forth. Now, we all have sinned and come short of God's glory. We all got crap in our lives, but where is the humility. This is no laughing matter. Y is the dude laughing about such a crazy issue. SMH,

  • @sjwagner28 @songwriter093 He says when he started talking that "I was drawn away by my own lusts" . . .

  • This Is so beautiful... I love Tye Tribbett, his wife and all my brothers and sisters... PERFECT PEACE :)

  • Sounds to me he is sort of side swiping the issue. Like when he sd he kept saying "No." about his adultery to his wife, and he sd he did that not for gossip's sake but for the gospel's sake? *that was a cliche* I am glad he is getting back up again, but he sd "No." bc he was lying. He was trying not to get caught, and was hoping he could get out of it before he did. He shouldn't be condemned, if we humble ourselves God will forgive, John 8:32, U shall kno the truth, & it shall make you free!

  • @jesusishisname102 When he said for 'Gospel's sake not Gossip' he was actually talking about him explaining it to us now is for the greater good, not so ppl can have gossip...his point went RIGHT over ur head!

  • @BHMinstrel Well if that is what he meant, then I guess he should of made of made it more plain then using a cliche shouldn't he have? lol and since you didn't address anything I said I am taking it that you agree....I like Tye Tribbet's music but I said it was true, god bless

  • so many people like him and you may not believe it but earnest pugh is falling! look at earnest pugh's interviews he looks ver fiminine.

  • wow...

  • My sister said yesterday, "God is not in the mind changing business" "He gives us free will". And I replied, "But He is is hte heart changing business..." I commend Tye for being so transparent even conceerning his marriage. that is SO PERSONAL. I wouldn't talk about that, but Tye is because it's healing the hearts of the people who looked up to him. I wonder why when the Bible says that Jesus is the only 1 righteous, why r we surprised when someone falls?

  • His sin was confessed, If GOD has forgiven him then we must be in prayer. So many times people wanna put down others that sin and forget where they came from. "Ye without sin, cast thy first stone..." And however he plan to clean it up, we know that GOD can heal us all... And the church said AMEN!!!

  • UM...this is whack.

  • i think he's placing more thought on him getting through his issue that the issue which isnt wrong in my book...yes what he and his wife did was horrible but how many times do you have to apologize to people who have no heaven or hell to put you in... im glad he got through it just wish it didnt happen for the sake of the fan that looked up to him

  • I just remember him preaching one night and he said, "YOU'RE NOT SORRY, YOU'RE CAUGHT!" ... I pray he remembers his words, and I hope that his restoration is genuine!

  • please pray for my father..as he is a minister...but man of God..and with 23 years of marriage is doing this exact thing now and is blinded by the lust and enemy..Pray that God opens his eyes to see again..and he realizes the sin, evilness, adultery, and pain/hurt he is causing not only to my mother but to himself..as the wages of sin is death..

  • @zoman115 I will be praying for your father and your family.

  • @GsShay Thankyou very much...

  • @zoman115 I deftnly will. My parents have been married for 34 yrs & my dad JUST stoped cheating like 8 years ago since, seemingly, 4 ever. But my mom PRAYED. We (me & my 2 sisters) prayed 4 him and prayed 4 ourselves, so that our image of him didn't stay tainted. Be realistic w/how you feel. Then give them to God. Prayer works. Period. Pray &believe 4 ur dad's eyes 2 be opened. Pray tht God himself will deal w/him. Sin has no respect of person & the flesh, if u give it grounds, will do ANYTHING!

  • @AnointedApntdE you are so correct...enough said!!!

  • So let's praise God that he didn't fall away from the faith, but he and his family are restored and still walking with God. I'm happy for him keep moving forward Tye and don't pay attention to all the Pharisees and scribes that judge you because they want to see a YouTube special of you repenting and crying for forgiveness lol. Maybe Psalm 51 and Romans 10:9 aren't convincing enough idk. Tye I think you need to sacrifice a lamb and maybe some of these people will be satisfied lol. A lot people

  • Awesome testimony, I love it. Im so happy that he has been restored, his wife, and family has been restored. This helps anybody who is in it or trying to come out of their sinful state. Most importantly it warns those of us that at any point you could fall. Luke 22:31-32 Psalms 51:13 thank you Tye.

But shame on you all who judge his sincerity. He has done thousands of interviews about this, he doesn't have to cry and snot in all of them. He even said every time he talks about this he gains mor

  • I love this interview because of the accountability. That's all anyone can expect. I respect his walk in this matter and think he will be even more powerful to minister because of it.
