@mdeppe69 No baiting, poor crop harvesting perhaps, but no bait. We were not allowed to drive in this field, it would have been a long walk bringing in bait.
@Pietaster24 Ducks and geese feed in fields all of the time. I think the farmer who harvested this field did a poor job and left lots of feed in the field. I don't know if his equipment was broken or it was another reason. We shoot lots of mallards and woodies in fields, sometimes it is more reliable than hunting over water.
@canadianwingshooter yeah i know they feed in fields a lot, especially geese. but getting large quantities of ducks in any fields where i live, New Jersey, is very hard to do. we hunt ducks over water, and usually geese in fields. sometimes we have a duck/goose hunt on water. you should check out my waterfowl group.
I have watched several of your videos and they are very enjoyable. I'm from wisconsin and the birds have arrived just recently.. gotten several rare species for the mississippi flyway including a black duck a ruddy duck and even a harlequin
@suferwill808 Yes, I will have them on my web site in a week or so. The will be affordable, that is how they were developed. Acrylic is $60 and wood is $50.
Wow great stuff .Looks like a whole lot of fun . Good to see another excellent video again .Thanks. Hey this is Nate`s dad I was wondering if you used those monster goose sillouetts ? Nate and I had a great deer week ,muzzle loader. We shot three .Hey You have a gr8 day eh? ...Lew

I was hoping to go on my first duck hunt in Georgia, but that may not happen now due to personal crap.
I do have a question, I have a 20 gauge which I have used for dove and pheasant. Can I use 20 gauge for duck?
ChristianEastern 4 months ago
@ChristianEastern You can use your 20 gage for duck or geese. I use it a lot for duck hunting.
canadianwingshooter 4 months ago
@ChristianEastern i used a 20 gauge with 3in 2 shot and it drops ducks like nothing
