Nalgene vs Klean Kanteen demon, both fit a GSI Glacier Cup

good video! I was going to buy a SS Kleen kanteen 40 oz widemouth. I simply want to be able to use my msr water filter still and have it attach, as well as put my kanteen over the fire. I wasn't sure if my gsi cup would fit inside it. now i do. :)

i just saw that gsi is making a one liter stainless water bottle that should fit also. problem is that the threads on the bottle are plastic or rubber. so for bushcraft and using it in a fire is out.

come on gsi, rethink that and you have a market. leave it the way it is and you will sell less.

what do you think is better for a nalgene bottle.

the gsi glacier cup or the olicamp space saver cup

@Diegosurvivor I like the gsi because it's a little taller and holds a few more ounces. The oilcamp does have measurements markings on it however. Montbell also makes these cups in titanium but they will cost you. Cheers, Chris

@Diegosurvivor They are extremely close but the oilcamp fits perhaps just a tad tighter around the nalgene. The difference is barely noticeable.
