Why doesn't BP hire some of the folks that are the hardest hit, train them on what these faux cleanup contractors are supposed to be doing, and pay their previous income reported on their tax forms, thus everyone benefits?

@Ril74: Yes, it's not a perfect world. People die every day. Yes we can prevent many deaths, in war, in oil spills, etc. If you try to ram your angst down people's throats, they stop listening. Propose solutions, not problems. I apologize if I've offended you somehow.

@Xyrium Uh, yeah that would be great. After losing their jobs they can be put to work in the toxic fumes, where cleanup workers who get water on them end up with headaches for weeks and bleeding from the rectum. This way BP could finish the job of murdering them quickly and ironically instead of through a drawn out process of letting corexit slowly seep into the water system. You're right xyrium "everyone" benefits if BP just helps them commit suicide.
