Why do people think GSP can't stand with people? The Serra incident? He's moved past that and he raped Serra in the rematch.
GSP is effective at setting up combos. He doesn't really have the knock out power in his hands but he is a very effective striker.
Dan won't have ANYTHING for GSP on the ground. Penn and Fitch have two of the best guards in the game and GSP moved through them like a knife through butter.
If Alves couldn't get past GSP, no way in hell is Hardy going to.

his jabs do look a lot crisper than most other fighters. incredible athlete and hes living up to his full potential, esp by training with greg jackson. in pierre penn 2 it seemed like he threw almost a superman jab punch? not really faking the kick and he threw it with his lead arm as opposed to a cross with the normal superman. or was it just a modified jab really? any vids on it?

i think it was a little bit of both, gsp is known for his superman punch, and in his first fight agaisnt penn he used it a lot and this time i think at that precise moment he tried to fake it and it worked

no i know what you mean, im also french canadian, actually im portugues moved her afterwards and went to french school but most of my friends speak english so i got portugues english and french in me, i dont really have that heavy ass accent but you can still notice it with some words, but even i make fun of french canadians who have a bad accent and try tos peak english cause i think its just so fucking funny xD lol

yeah, with his upper body. check out the big dvd of combat's striking section. his stance is very different from a standard boxers, and it looks a lot more effective to me.

IDK i think it depends on the person Bas is not very light on his feet or very fast so the power stance would work for him but GSP is lighter and faster so he can angle better and shift better so it works for him. haha I think if GSP would fight Bas though he could just kick him in the balls and end it very fast...because of the wide stance.both are legit but i prefer the ballanced stance power aint everything timing can be just as devistating. After his fight with Penn he said that he clinched with Penn so Penn would have to push against him and his arms would get tired. Because of that his jabs weren't as powerful. Pretty clever.
