Well, a lighting bolt actually hit a plane I was traveling in (in the wing)... there was a huge turbulence just afterwards that felt like the plane was falling down and the lighting bolt just sounded like an explosion in the turbine.
Big scare, but the big turbulence and the lighting hit was said to be not related
Actually, most of it was far away if look carefully, but the small bolts were still further away, but playing the video normal looks very close. It's your decision on what.
Most aircraft skins are made primarily of aluminum, which is a very good conductor of electricity. By making sure that there are no gaps in this conductive path, the engineer can assure that most of the lightning current will remain on the exterior skin of the aircraft. The current will travel through the conductive exterior skin and structures of the aircraft and exit off some other extremity, such as the tail or the tip of the wings.
it would if u did it in slow mo but still good

That's a HUGE +ve discharge, but not close to the plane. Stop it at 3 sec and it looks like a bright white tornado.

Bolt was at least a good 5 to 7 miles from the plane, nether the less still too close LOL
