Why is there a pink shogun zord? What was Bandai America thinking?

I remember as a kid watching season 3 of Power Rangers, wondering when the White Shogun Zord would be change into the Pink Shogun Zord on the show for only Katherine to pilot. LOL

was it ever explained why they decided to use the shogun megazords sword in the mmpr movie rather than the ninja megazords sword i mean othe than the fact that it looks cooler it doesnt really make any sense seeing as how its destroyed within a few minutes

@wesleyv1 The Ninja Megazord had no sword. Its finisher where the hands. That's why.

@rangerreview The smaller Ninja Megazord/Megafalconzord set that didn't separate came with a large version of one of the Ape's double swords.

Also, the Yellow Shogunzord was repainted to a lemony yellow colour to match the Yellow Ranger's suit more (I guess) to it's more amber colour like all the MMPR zords were in the show and on the Sentai mech toys.

Although the toy can split into five individual warrior robots the lack of articulation does let it down somewhat and I even repainted the Pink Shogunzord white and the Yellow Shogunzord amber and added more paint apps to make it look more interesting that it already did.

Good review. Your Shogun Megazord is a prime candidate for both reprolabelling, and also getting the metal Shinobi chest emblem from Starlight Studios. If you do either one of these, get the metal chest emblem first, since it requires peeling off a sticker your megazord is actually missing at the moment.

What are your views on chrome, guys? Do you think a lack of chrome is better since in-show the Megazords don't have chrome at all? Or do you think that chrome, while unnecessary, is a good thing to have? Or does it depend on the figure?

@SpeedRacerFlubber I can say I'm not a fan of chrome, particularly silver chrome. Gold chome is a little better, but I would prefer it being left off totally. Part of what made the 2010 Megazord cool was the lack of chrome to be ruined.

@aaronmp8 It won't be ruined if you take care of your stuff. And chrome doesn't really peel anymore on the newer stuff.

I hated the Shogun megazord. However, as time has passed, it has grown on me (toy wise).

Why did was there two rangers in MMPR to controlling the Pink zord while the zord only had one ranger controlling them  Would been better if the was only one Ranger in pilot in pink zord.

@AngeltyXD78 it's cause in kakurangers they only had 5 rangers but in mmpr all three seasons had 6 rangers

@beastwarfan Because the Zord is a woman but MMPR had a Pink Ranger. But Tommy piloted. The show and Toyline where screwed up.
