I was shaking with rage and while reading that 23-page horror story, shaking my head with disgust at the reports on the news and ESPN, and now I'm shaking with laughter at the crew's breakdown of this. Laughter is the best of medicine, they say, and it's true. I feel better already! Sure the situation was God-awful but I'd rather laugh than cry, and this guy's still going away for a very long time. It’s not a question of whether or no he’s “entitled” to his own opinion, that’s his First Amendment, freedom of speech right -- First Amendment right being afforded to a wide variety of people, some of whom are not only cynical, vulgar, exploitive and distasteful but also criminal. For example, John Gotti was entitled to certain civil liberties, one of which is freedom of speech, but it didn’t make him a positive influence on society, did it?

It’s not that Stern isn’t entitled to his opinions – it’s how he invariably expresses them.

There’s a simply way for you to evaluate Howard Stern. Imagine, God forbid, that you have a child who was molested. And Howard Stern and his fellow “shock jocks” came to your house and talked about the Sandusky case the way they do on the air. You’re okay with that?
