I really like this song! <3 Great choice. Mugen/Fuu is pretty controversial; most people say there's a sibling affection there, and I started off with that mindset when the show first aired because it just didn't seem like the type of show to interject romantic undertones, but over time I just didn't feel that anime "sibling" vibe, at least not from Fuu's end. If they were going for a sororal bond [in an era where 13 x 40 years olds were the norm, no less], they should've made it less mazy. XD;
LOL I'll admit when I first watched this anime I wanted Jin and Fuu together so badly because well Jin is awesome xD and he treated her with [some kind of respect] that mugen didn't but I knew Jin only loved Shino so i started becoming a fan of Fuu/Mugen then I could see it what i didn't see before that was that the little tiny things Mugen would do to protect Fuu xD even if he acted like a jerk you could see his true feelings each time he rescued her xD Fuugen<3
The thing I like the most about this AMV is the first scene with Mugen's graffiti. It's one of my favorite moments because the two brothers said whoever wins that competition gets to be with Fuu.. and then Mugen comes up out of nowhere and technically wins ;)
It has a lot of different parts in it - a lot is form the episode with Sarah (21), the scene with Mugen on the roof was from 18, and, of course, there's whole chunks from Mugen's backstory eps (13 and 14) and the final two episodes (25 and 26).
Great video, it would be great if it was cleaned up a little... Jin loved the woman he saved from the brothel, I think he thought of Fuu like a little sister.

Mugen, since the first episode, is also always the one who rescues Fuu(even though he had no obligation to)and spends the most time with her. I think even Jin saw it since he told Mugen to save Fuu instead of going himself. He proved just how much he cared for her in the final episode.
Amazing. This song is pefect. I really wish you'd clean it up though, fix the choppy bits in the middle. The begining is perfect, it gives me chills. I will never hear the opening of this song without thinking of Mugen standing on the roof now, hahaha.

On closer inspection that's rubbish; a lot of people seem to prefer Fuu and Mugen together as well. I swear, when I watched it it was difficult to find anyone saying that.
I LOVE Fuu and Mugen. There aren't enough Champloo vids out there, but it's true: it seems to have shifted from FuuxJin to MAJOR FuuxMugen.
I think she develops feelings for him later in the series, whereas she (and most girls) would initially be attracted to the quiet, handsome, well-mannered guy. ;D
