Yeah sure, the combat was based on rolls, but it is an MMO, and it has to be fair. It could have had the combat of WoW, but then there would have been no proper fighting with styles in the game.

I only played MxO for two weeks before RL forced me out, so i suppose the same amount of time Enchurito played, I went into this game wanting to play it though.
You said there was nobody on. This does not appear to be accurate. At 1:46 and 2:20 the message bar spikes when you weren't targeting anything, this suggests that somebody was fighting near you.
Lastly, since when is money for loot "gay? and why is having too much inventory space a bad thing? Odd complaints.

Original star wars galaxies was a hardcore mmorpg and ACTUALLY had players. This game might be hardcore but it sure as hell had no new players at all.

It's not shit. The pricing is the reason people don't play, so blame SOE. The only possible reasons to think it sucks is if you either fail at the game, fail at life, or are just some idiot who can't think for theirself so follows what others say instead.
SOE is the problem. There were loads more players in the earlier days. Since it was also competing with City of Heroes/Villains, which is now one of the top games, so it also had a tough run. Also, I'm no expert at MxO, but I'm pretty sure you're just fighting really low level NPCs with a higher level character. I don't think I've ever had a fight where I didn't have to touch the keyboard. That's what happens in other MMOs too, incase you didn't know.
Also, judging by the content of your review - it seems you did not give the game a good chance, or there is no pleasing you. "Look a wall, that's fucking gay" is not a good review and does not constitute it being a bad game. Your level 5 and haven't left the starting zone, either, by the looks of things, that's like going to a gym, lifting a couple weights and saying "Man, this aint fucking working!". Reading back your posts, it seems you have more of a problem with it's small community - which is Sony's fault (Not enough advertisements, cutting staff, minimal updates) Which is fine, but it doesn't make the game bad. It looks like a good game, it seems it has just been treated with neglect.
I remember when I was 13 I went to my friends house and played this game...amazing game. Now that I finally have my computer which is an amazing gaming computer there is NO ONE on the streets. The only friend you can make in that game is an NPC. My NPC friend is an agent =( which beats me up everytime he sees me.

Beta'ed this game on its retail release the game sucked. Canceled the game a few days afterwords as the game became unplayable missions crashing/dropping off AI was to overpowered and missions were also repetitive. No they give you atleast three skills from each tree (operative, hacker and coder) which you may load up at the hardline. The fact you didnt know that just goes to show how much you actually looked at the game.
Define surrounding areas for me... There is three maps (minus archives etc) Ritchland (westview inc) international and downtown, each of which make up well over 50 N/H's. These themselves can take a few minutes to cross at low levels.

As for the story, it did just that.
After Revolutions there was a uneasy truce between Zion and the Machines. A few decided to follow Neo's legacy and form E Pluribus
Neo.
Cypher's belief of bluepills spread. Cryptos and others formed the Cypherites. The Merovingian continued to fight for survival within the system.
As for the rest, it's a RPG, it was designed for players to make up their own story and just have fun.

I think it's an amazing game and the only reason it's crashing for u is coz u have a bad computer. ok iv been playing for about 20 months now. its crashed ONCE. and my computer is pretty crap to be honest

It's not shit. The pricing is the reason people don't play, so blame SOE. The only possible reasons to think it sucks is if you either fail at the game, fail at life, or are just some idiot who can't think for theirself so follows what others say instead.

SOE is the problem. There were loads more players in the earlier days. Since it was also competing with City of Heroes/Villains, which is now one of the top games, so it also had a tough run. Also, I'm no expert at MxO, but I'm pretty sure you're just fighting really low level NPCs with a higher level character. I don't think I've ever had a fight where I didn't have to touch the keyboard. That's what happens in other MMOs too, incase you didn't know.

Also, judging by the content of your review - it seems you did not give the game a good chance, or there is no pleasing you. "Look a wall, that's fucking gay" is not a good review and does not constitute it being a bad game. Your level 5 and haven't left the starting zone, either, by the looks of things, that's like going to a gym, lifting a couple weights and saying "Man, this aint fucking working!". Allinall, a shitty review and shitty vid - I see better vids in related searches.

Reading back your posts, it seems you have more of a problem with it's small community - which is Sony's fault (Not enough advertisements, cutting staff, minimal updates) Which is fine, but it doesn't make the game bad. It looks like a good game, it seems it has just been treated with neglect.

I remember when I was 13 I went to my friends house and played this game...amazing game. Now that I finally have my computer which is an amazing gaming computer there is NO ONE on the streets. The only friend you can make in that game is an NPC. My NPC friend is an agent =( which beats me up everytime he sees me.

You obviously did not level high enough to even gain your first fighting skill....of course you do not have to press a button to do the beginners love taps. It is the higher level attacks that require button pushing. You n00bs never gave the game a chance. Oh, and if you can not tell the difference between a wall and water, I suggest a new computer and stop using your dad's Commador 64.

Beta'ed this game on its retail release the game sucked. Canceled the game a few days afterwords as the game became unplayable missions crashing/dropping off AI was to overpowered and missions were also repetitive. Told the WB suckers I was going to WOW and played that for 2 years as WOW as well has become repetitive no matter how many "expan$ion pack$" they release!!!

MXO has went down hill due to its lack of funding, without players less money without money cuts must be made players leave and less money comes in... more cuts etc its a vicious circle. Thats said recently in the past few months MXO has reversed in terms of players. ALOT of old players are returning and an influx of new ones too... why not join em!

That's cause I spent a good 2 weeks and NEVER EVER EVER saw another player even in these supposed areas. I mean even at the SPAWN POINT there was no other players. If you don't believe me so what. No I won't go resubscribe to this garbage game just to make a video to prove its empty.

You traveled no where not even out of the tut/starting area. The reason it crashes so much is its high requirements, and you have the details on high. You havent even got any abilities on the skill bar, maybe if you'd go into the game without that sarcastic unimpressed pre-thought you'd maybe spend some time getting into somewhere better and taking in the advise not only the game gives you but the players that ironically where about a 1min walk from were you where.

I went into all the surrounding areas, there were NOT people in them. Plus that was all the skills they gave me at the beginning.

No they give you atleast three skills from each tree (operative, hacker and coder) which you may load up at the hardline. The fact you didnt know that just goes to show how much you actually looked at the game.
Define surrounding areas for me... There is three maps (minus archives etc) Ritchland (westview inc) international and downtown, each of which make up well over 50 N/H's. These themselves can take a few minutes to cross at low levels.

yeah. i never tryed it myself but in the gamespot review it says something like when you level high enough you would gain abilities like ultra jump, and there are several movies where you see them jump.

I will say i play wow, but this doesn't look half bad. How much does it cost per month any way? i might like this more then wow just because i like sci-fi more then fantasy. Besides for some reason most people dont like sci-fi mmos. i use a warlock in wow the most none invalved character i dont think the combat system will bother me. Ha dont bash it till you try it right?
