  • Drivers mirror cushioned the impact a little

  • In a big loaded truck you can do one of these 'slow rolls' at quite low speeds - I saw it happen once in a truck park - I don't think the driver was doing more than 20 mph

  • why would you do that?

  • @2012GT500Supersnake People who don't know how to drive do that, I never came close to a rollover in my '91 Sport 5spd.

  • @srcej6 You nailed it on the head! That is the problem in this country, people can't drive. Drivers Ed is a joke!! Drivers license testing is a joke!! It is a top heavy suv , don't drive it like that!! Learn how to drive people!!

  • @ktumbleweed you're an ass, and you don't know what your talking about. just shup up man.

  • @bluestormjungle What makes me an ass? Do you realize how easy it is for people to get a drivers license in the US compared to other countries?? It is a joke. In some countries there are different levels of licenses. You do not get a full license until you prove you know what the hell you are doing, and that includes knowing how to drive a standard. The way you talk tells me you are one of the no driving Mother Fuc#$% I am talking about. Go piss and moan elsewhere!!

  • @srcej6 folks who have catastrophic tire failure do it also. these vehicles were junk right off the assembly line.

  • @walkingeagle069 If you can't control a vehicle when it haves a tire failure then you have no business behind the wheel. If you cannot control a top heavy SUV in an evasive maneuver then get a car. It is that simple. Most US drivers need a lesson in defensive driving. Are Ford Exploders more prone to rollover? Yes, if you own one drive it accordingly. If you cannot then get rid of it!!

  • my absolute fav car :(

  • top heavy trucks is not for drifting..

  • Your driving this now with 20 years under it's belt. The struts are warn the tie rods are probably worn and the ball joint

  • lol all you have to do is steer back into the turn.

But not to much or you'll be doing it all over again, just in the opposite direction now.

  • My father owned one of those when I was a kid and we drove it over 200,000 miles and never flipped...

  • Sounds like the ocean.

  • At least ford circled the problem with the blue oval ;)

  • This is what happens when you buy a blue oval !

  • I knew three people that were killed in the Explorer!

A Father and son in one.

The other was a good friend of mine.

Neither Explorer was involved in a car accident with another car!

  • Holy shit that was 20 years ago...

  • the 1991-1994 Ford Explorer was assembled in

    Louisville, Kentucky, United States

    St. Louis, Missouri, United States

    Valencia, Venezuela

  • Quality is job #1.. Not

  • @piancu Any tall narrow vehicle will do that. It has nothing to do with quality, it's pure physics. You could lower it & stiffen the suspension but you lose off road ability. It is all about what it is designed to do. If you want a capable off road vehicle you give up some on road stability.

  • You must like Ford. You did not drive any autoVAZ. (sorry, I don`t speak english)

  • american cars cant take corners. they are only good for scrap metal.

  • @mynkNX shut up and fuck you!

  • @tiggetigge eat cock and drive your american bucket lol

  • @mynkNX your mums cock is as big as a bucket shut the fuck up!

  • @tiggetigge wow, sorry my mother is a woman. you must be the son of elton john and his boyfriend, sorry for you el faggo

  • @mynkNX your mum is a fucking tranny

  • @tiggetigge no, you arent my mum

  • @mynkNX im not your mum ofcourse not then i would have hade to fuck a cow to get you

  • @tiggetigge well yeah, you fucking a cow would be incest

  • @mynkNX it would but i didnt, your mum did

  • @tiggetigge its nice that you agree that you are a sibling of a cow lol

  • @mynkNX oh shit! i didnt notice that lol

  • @tiggetigge you noticed that today when tou milked your sister, didnt you?

  • @mynkNX lol :)

  • i gave my 94 explorer to my step dad it had over 400k on it and it still runs like a top but it is on the 2nd tranny

  • Ford has come a long way since then. My new 2011 Ford Flex has standard ESC w/ Roll Stability Control, Trailer Sway Control and side curtain roll sensing airbags :)

  • @highlanderhybrid But Flex isnt a tall SUV.

  • @stonee206 My 07" Explorer has RSC and didn't roll when I swerved a lot harder and faster going 70.

  • @stonee206 But a Flex isn't a SUV its a crossover!!

  • @stonee206 it's also long. and wide.

  • I have a 92 explorer 4 door and I have never had a problem with it. Wheels have never came off the ground except when i go offroading with my buddies. Parts are cheap for it so i dont know why that guy said parts are expensive.

  • i thank the first ford explorer was blaming the tire manufacture say no to ford explorer 1991-2001 ford explorer worst in usa and the world

  • @beckgilbert wtf are you talking about? even the US government looked into that and it was faulty tires from firestone causing the roll overs..explorers are some of the safest vehicles ever made, especially the new ones, they even have seat belt air bags! beat that with some import shit!

  • @beckgilbert I don't "thank" or think you know what your saying. The Explorer is a a good truck as long as you drive it as it is intended to be driven. It's not a sports car! Also there was a recall for tread separation back in 2000 for the Firestone Wilderness AT tires that came from the Decater plant. Tread separation was aggravated by under inflating tires.

  • oh not the worst at all but in 1991 no but at least

  • glad i have a dodge stratus but i dont like them i call it the crapy engine the fan is so noisy that i can hear it 30 feet away we had to unplug it dering fall are engine a few months ago almost the engine over heated dering summer over temp over 100 degree temps the plug was loose and fall off next time im getting a gmc yukon or xl my best or chevy tahoe or subrban

  • Comment removed

  • ive put 65,00m on my 98 explorere and ive gotten the 2 left or 2 right wheels off the ground atleast 15 times (since i bought it) in conditions like this.this cars impossible to work on and parts are expensive(notorious for snapping sway bar links) for a ford.id never recomend anyone buying these cars but on the plus side if there not rusted to hell they do hold pretty good value.

  • Sheesh, my dad has a 2001 Toyota Highlander, and he had to swerve rapidly to avoid hitting a Ford Contour right in the driver door at 45 mph on March 1, 2007. There was him and me (14 y/o at the time) in the car. I'm glad we didn't even begin to tip over; the Camry chassis I think worked wonders then, lol (:

  • i love this car :)

  • I have a 95 Ford Explorer with the same torsion bar suspension, lol,.

  • -.-

  • i always go with the flow it can be fatal to bother correcting. once you balance it out then its ok to steer but its probably less fatal to hit what you were trying to miss
