I think the venue and promotion plays a great roll in the outcome of the party. Still, there are too many elements involved in the business of a party/club to really sum it down to a DJ's fault. rockin' crowds of every kind, anywhere, anytime, is sometimes a matter of the situation at hand and not reflective on the DJ's set or the DJ's skills.

Well, yes to us as DJ's that can get annoying, but to a crowd that has never heard him before they do not know or care, they just want to get rocked. As long as the set is well put together he is EARNING the loot IMO.

On the promoter's/club owners/management eyes the numbers is all that counts, even if the DJ sucks.
