@pviking12 Appalachian State probably would've been a top 60 team if they were in the FBS. This Toledo team won 4 games that year (including Michigan), got shut out by Ball State the week before, and fired their coach at the end of the season. App State would slaughter that Toledo team.
@kobraf150....WTF? Haha we did not go 0-12. In fact, we got to a bowl game and were 7-5. We lost to ALL great teams. (OSU, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Penn State!) But we beat Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, Connecticut, UMass, Bowling Green, and Notre Dame. Connecticut got a high bowl game bid and Notre Dame was pretty good. So, how were we so bad?
You would think coaching Toledo to a win over Michigan in the Big House would get you a raise and a contract extension. Not that year. Michigan was so bad that Toledo Tom Amstutz was fired what, 2 weeks later for having such a bad season. Thats how worthless beating Michigan has been lately, the win couldn't even get Tom Amstutz to the end of the season. Toledo was a last place MAC team so that suggests all the other Mac teams could have also beaten Michigan. That would've been sweet!
Oh and michigan, it will only get WORSE!!!! You will go 0-12 this year!...then you will be forced to drop football after you do it again a few times...that "win" over a bag of embrios (deleware state) was the last you will ever experience. OH-IO, TOL-EDO oh, the Rockets weren't even good then, so pathetic! Oh, and don't bother saying you "know you suck", cuz for all your annoying bitching we will STILL CONTINUE TO HARASS YOU until you are completlely ELIMINATED!!!!!!!
havent been good in the last 20 years? i guess going to 30+ straight bowl games sucks, guess sending people like tom brady into the nfl sucks...and being the most winningest program sucks...get real
There's nothing better than seeing a school like Michigan, teeming with self important, pretentious windbags, get beat. They're 4-0 right now, but eventually this year they are going to play a good team (which they haven't done yet) and they will get humlliated yet again.
Michigan sent 8 players to the NFL this year actually. DT Terrance Taylor was drafted in the 4th round by Indy, CB Morgan Trent in the 6th round by Cincy, and SS Brandon Harrison, TE's Mike Massey & Carson Butler, LS Sean Griffin, DE Tim Jamison, and DT Will Johnson all inked free agent contracts. Not bad for a team that just went 3-9.
And what do you mean Michigan has sucked for the last 20 years? We may not have been as good as we should have been, but we haven't sucked.
HAHAHA. I love this. App State one year. Then Toledo! God the Big 10 sucks! Although i would rather watch the big ten than the Big East or ACC... Big 12 and SEC are the only conferences worth watching =)
Indeed. I wonder who it will be this year. Eastern Michigan? Indiana? Delaware State? I hope all that illegal extra practice will be enough for RichRod's crew to pull off victories against such powerhouses.
This loss to the Rockets is to us what Alabamas loss was to UL Monroe. It will mean nothing down the road. Michigan was going through a transition year, and now that transition is over.
Michigan is gone? You don't know shit. RichRods teams always suck in year one, and from year two on out, they kick everyones ass. Try playing us again in the future and we'd beat the royal fuck out of you pusseyes. The Wolverines will soon be a DOMINANT program under Rodriguez. Enjoy a 2-10 season next year while we go 9-4 and play in a January Bowl game. Fool.
This is the Big Ten Not the Big East...Big East is not that good...Yea with your schedule u should be better...The non-conference schedule is a joke....
WVU had to go up against the likes of Miami, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Uconn, and Cincy. The competition WVU faced was just as tough if not tougher then what Michigan has faced the last several years. If RichRod could succeed at WVU, he'll damn well succeed at Michigan.
Miami is not good? They won an NC in 2001, made it to the NC game in 2002, and were in the top 15 in 2003 and 2004. Virginia Tech was a top 10 team. Pitt is a consistent 8 or 9 game winner. Uconn and Cincy have emerged as 8 or 9 game winners (Cincy made it to the orange bowl last season). And Boston college has won a billion straight bowl games and has had several 10 win seasons. The Big East is a good conference......just as good as the Big Ten.
I guess u guys are so high on RR record you better look again...he only had how many times he didnt lose at least 4 games or more. I guess losing 4 games is ok with you guys year in and year out.
I was planning on going to the game but now I have a wedding to go to. Oh well, maybe they will have a TV lol. I like your name. I love Green Day. I am 61 yrs young, but I went to a GD concert w few yrs ago and was amazed. American Idiot is kick butt. One of the best albums ever.
Thanks. I've never been to a GD concert. It's a dream of mine to see them live. I agree about American Idiot. A lot of people didn't like it because of it being political, but I think it's one of their best. Did you know they have a new album coming out sometime in April or May? They said it's going to sound like their old stuff like Dookie.
I loved American Idiot because it was so political. I was lucky enough to go with my daughter, and since the concert had been rescheduled for the third time, her friend couldn't go. They did the entire AI album, plus the rest of the concert. Except for seeing the Beatles, this was my second best concert. Followed the Dave Matthews Band concert. Take care Peace..Go Bucks, Go Rockets!!!!
That wouldn't happen to be the Dayton show that you saw, would it? I live in the Dayton area, so I remember that it got rescheduled twice. Once because Billie Joe was sick. I forget why they rescheduled it again.
Sure is. I guess because they wanted it to be a road game and we all know Toledo's stadium isn't big enough to hold all the OSU fans that'll be going. It's gonna be a road game but it probably won't feel like one.
Esactly how do you expect to go to the Rose Bowl. Maybe try to focus on winning football games and then maybe play in a bowl game. Cause the odds are against you Mich. fans at Penn State this week. Go Lions, GO BUCKS.
Keep dreaming sonnie. Your suckeyes couldn't stop a good spread offense to save their life. Good luck stopping Tate Forcier and co. down the road. RichRod is about to make Sweater Vest his BITCH, starting next season.
Yea like Illin..spread..Northwesterns...Penn States offense...Little one were u even alive during the ten year war??? To understand it that is not in diapers
The two times you played penn state when they ran the spread, you lost. The one time Illinois was good and ran the spread (2007), you also lost. Northwestern has never been good, and you guys still lost to them back in 2004. The suckeyes have yet to beat a good team that runs the spread. And what does the ten year war have to do with this? Michigan won the ten year war anyways.
U really dont know crap do you..Penn State ran it in 2005-2008 we are 2-1...Illin has been running it since 2004...we are 3-1...Yea u won the ten year war by one game..wow...Were you out of diapers then?
Penn State did not run the spread in 2006 or 2007. They ran the pro-style both seasons. You can ask Joe Paterno yourself if you ever see him, or just watch the damn games and you'll see. PSU ran the spread in 2005 and 2008, and your suckeyes lost to them both times. Michigan will consistently beat OSWHO with their spread option offense. I guarantee it.
Illinois was only good in 2007, and that year, they BEAT your fuckeyes.
they started to run it in 2006 -2008..we won in 2006 and 2007. Yea how did that spread optin joke work out this year..42-7. Illini beat your sorry ass last year..actually another record set against Michigan with Juice smacking you like the little bitches you are,,,,,
You are really living in denial. No, Penn State did not run the spread in 2006 and 2007. They ran the prostyle both seasons (which makes perfect sense seeing as Anthony Morelli was their starting QB those two seasons). The two times PSU has run the spread, your suckeyes lost to them. eat shit
Last year was the first season under RichRod smart one. We had to start a bunch of freshman, and we had a QB ill suited to run the spread option. That is not the case this season. Things will be different
Besides, RichRods teams always suck in season one, and from season two on out, they dominate everybody. The West Virginia Mountaineers are the perfect example: they went 3-8 in 2001, then went 9-4 in 2002, and it was a boat-race after that. They won Big East championships in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2007. They won 11 games and finished in the top 10 in 2005, 2006, and 2007. They won BCS Bowl games in 2005 and 2007. And they did all this with MAC talent!
RichRod will have a million times more talent available to him at Michigan then he did at West Virginia. He's already hauled in two straight top 10 classes loaded with speed and quickness. A third is coming this February. The future of Michigan Wolverines football could not be brighter. RichRod will make us a Big Ten dynasty and quite possibly the NO.1 program in the land. And there's nothing your suckeyes can do about it.
again, I don't know what the ten year war has to do with this, but I'll answer you anyways:
Michigan won the ten year war, period. If you're going to bitch about losing it by one game, then I might as well say the Wolverines only lost to the fuckeyes by 4 points in 2005, or 3 points in 2006, or 5 points in 2002, or 6 points in 2001. In both circumstances, it doesn't matter. Michigan lost those games. end of story. and OSWHO lost the ten year war. end of story.
I'd like to see you assholes come to the Big House again once RichRod gets his players in here. Way to beat us by all of three points in our rebuilding year. We'd rape the shit out of you clowns any other season. Hell, we had to hand you this game on a silver platter for you to even beat us when we go 3-9!

Tyrell Herbert had a great game for Toledo with 2 INTs!
Toledo WR Nick Moore caught 20 passes for 162 yards. QB Aaron Opelt was 33-50 for 257 yards.
Toledo came into this game only 1-4. They had just come off a bad 31-0 loss to Ball State
Toledo played an inspired game. Michigan may have been caught looking ahead to their matchup with Penn State
Gary Danielson doesn't like Big Ten vs MAC games, saying they're usually mismatches. But Toledo's one MAC team who won vs a Big Ten squad
