make no wonder i couldn't do yhis game when i was a kid! i wouldn't be able to do it now hahaha! it's only because i had a dream about playing this game the other night that made me think...how the fuck did you complete this game!!!
I seem to remember my sister working out how to get the potion bottle completed and all that good stuff, but never figuring out how to throw it.
I get that the protective amulet stops you recieving damage from the spells he casts, but what stopped him shooting them? Simply the act of putting the amulet next door?
Having just watched a video of the C64 version, the backgrounds are identical. A bit unusual as a lot of the games seemed to differ graphically between the 2 machines. I suppose Codemasters decided to have an easy day coding the other versions of Dizzy.
Any other C64 games that are nothing but terrible ZX Spectrum conversions? Also, did the Dizzy sequels for C64 have different graphics compared to the ZX Spectrum version or the same graphics?
I wouldn't know about that as I don't know the commodore, but I wouldn't think there would be from some of the videos I've seen. All the Dizzy arcade/adventures are identical on both machines apart from the C64 border.

Zaks only fires 2 spells and as long as you're wearing the Amulet you can destroy both of them. Then he is powerless.

Oh is THAT it =O
Gosh, that's simple. Wonder if my sister will remember it well enough to know what I'm talking about...it was about 20 years ago XD

Are there any differences between the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 versions of the original Dizzy in terms of graphics?
