BOOM fixed blade crushes bone and punches through lungs with a good shot BOOM RAGE PLOWES THROUGH MAKING A AMAZING SHOT oop forget it it hit a bone and failed and or hit a fly while in the air and oped while in flight
I have both Muzzy and Rage. Muzzy very dependable, Rage extremely Bloody. It's all about preference. No one can say for sure which is better because they all work different in each situation. Kinda like comparing Chevy to Ford. Its an argument that just can't be won
@TheBubbabowhunter Most people can shoot very well but just hit the deer at a bad angle and some times the just don't deploy had two friends that there rages did not deploy even though they were broadside and it was a lung shot, and before you can say anything or have anyone possibly listen to you, you have to learn proper English you crazy baboon..,
I couldnt agree more. The rage has nothing on the muzzy. I watched a man shoot a mussy through a cinder block and the rage....well it sucked. The rage wont penetrate bone. I do agree though that rage tares a hole but the muzzy MX4 does just as good but destroys bone.
all yall ass holes complain about how rage breaks or whatever when yu hit bone, maybe yall should learn how to shoot, it usually helps ive been shootin rage for a while now and droped every deer and i aint switchin back
I just took a nice 8pt this morning with a Rage 2blade. Never used them but based on the recommendation of the owner of Lancaster Archery Supply I tried them. Easiest blood trail I EVER followed in 23 years of hunting..including rifle. WOW all the horror stories I've heard are washed out of my head.
Rage's can definitely drain a plastic bottle of water fast. But if a rage hits anything stronger than a thin flimsy plastic bottle the blades break off and basically turn into a field point. I unfortunately picked up and shot deer with the one and only pack I'll ever use again. First deer was a 8 pt about 35 yard shot and it hammered that thing and it died within 15 feet. Second deer was a doe around 20 yard shot and it went in and fell out. The blades never deployed it was laying on ground shu
good comments everyone i am the one who did the test and i want to make very clear that both bottle caps are tight and in no way did i make one bottle drain faster than the other. why did the fix broadhead bottle drain fast after i shot it with the rage? i just want to make very clear is that i DIDNT stage this test for one to be better than the other
Rage are garbage fixed blade is the way to go! want proof look at the bottle caps for the rage and the fixed blade is obvious that one lid is looser than the other one!
i started out shooting the swhacker when i started bowhunting but now that i'am a better shot in can cut that hear i'am thanking Muzzy mx-3 is the way to go you dont need a big cut to kill a deer in you dont need a high pound draw to kill a deer what you do need is a bow you can shoot shoot shoot in to be able to put that arrow on the spot when the time comes
@timbo0201 actually last weeken i shot a deer with 50 pound test through the shoulder blaed, and it only ran 50 yards before it expired, i was using the rage 40 KE, so please stop hatin on the rage, it is the best broadhead out there
Whats the song called

I threw my Rages out because every deer I shot with them only one blade came out. I stick with Muzzy they never fail me.

Not much bone in those bottles and that's when Rage broadheads fail. Muzzys are the go for a solid and reliable head.

I shot a doe last week with a rage... she took two jumps and then crashed into a tree. I"ve never seen a more deadly broadhead

i've never really cared for expandable broadheads because every single one i have owned breaks after i shoot em a couple of times so i use muzzy

it all depends on where you shoot the deer....

Try using a fixed broadhead with the same size cutting blades. The test may go differently. The Rage is +2" and fixed looked like 1".

ha ha how stupid! its a water bottle put some bone in front and see what happens
timbo0201 5 months ago
@timbo0201 your joking right? If you have good shot placement you dont have to worry about the damn arrow hitting bone.

@CopenhagenXLC5 your joking right? if you have good shot placement to dont need a 2" cut
timbo0201 4 months ago
@timbo0201 true, but it also doesnt hurt to use a broadhead that can make a deer bleed out and drop alot faster than using a fixed blade broadhead.
