We have several Indie stations (both #1 in their markets). Not saying she's not good, just that she's okay. She's not a sustainable artist. Market trending for these types of groups classify her in the 18-24 category, which by the very nature of the demographic, her audience outgrows her faster than she could remain a bankable artist.

Meg & Dia will never go the pop root and will continue to be an indie band no matter what happens. But that doesn't mean they won't be successful. And, without airtime, it's difficult to be very successful. It's all about the bottom line.
