@QuadResponse phoenix is the name of the sim, sign up at helifreak it is a rc helicopter forum and you can get all the help you will ever need there. when i started i found helifreak and if i would not have found that i may not be flying today, the complexity of the RC helicopter set up is crazy till you understand it all.

is simulated harder than real flying cause i can do turns do manoeuvres but hovering in one spot is hard.

@360kal some things on the sim are harder, hovering is a little harder than on the real thing, most things are exactly the same or slightly harder, and there are a few things like tictocs and autorotations that are easier on the sim... but most stuff is pretty accurate, at least that it how it is on phoenix, realflight i remember it was even harder to hover in one spot but it did not feel as realistic to me

@joser1083 when tacking off a helicopter naturally wants to pull to the left, i got a video that show that and what do do about it on my page some place. you just got to learn to correct for that left pull as it is lifting off the ground

HAHAHA ,very nice you are back ,great idea to do a series like this ,,1 tip though ,beginners usually dont start with nitro helis,,i will put a video response with a nice beginner forwardflight ,,great job danny

@bassax7045 thanks i have 5 or 6 videos recorded for the series but they take for ever to upload, ill probably get one up a day, the next video is flying away from your forwards and back to your backwards and why its important to get this down so you can use backwards flight to bring the heli back when you need to land..

that is my favorite heli to fly in the sim. it's easier to learn this stuff on a big stable nitro heli, I will often pick the nitro in the sim to learn something new.
