@ngs5150 I'm a songwrite-done this before where the postmaster seals it in a registered package with ink stamped 2 or three places around the seal--idea: if came to court it'd be proof I wrote the song/songs---guess what--I found out if song was disputed in court--you can lose all income of song up to the date judge rules you wrote the song/songs. The song could have made half a mill or more by then--but with poorman copyright, you could lose all of that income--best to copyright it officially
