This is what the army has being doing in Venezuela ever since Vargas tragedy in 1999, the rescue operations evolved in social programs(bolivarian missions etc), lately there have being advances to help Colombia with humanitarian operations.

Unfortunatly there was no big headline the next day who won the election. CNN in their ticker blog posted an article that Ron Paul won the debate on internet polls on CNN and msnbc. How ever they clearly state it was not scientific poll to discredit him. They claim the Gallop poll is scientific but the irony to that is Ron Paul is not even listed on the candidates you can choose from. Thats why he scores 1% on all polls.
