I came home late last night and missed the part with Meryl honoring one of her best friends. Me being a hugh Streep fan, I like to catch these rare moments when she's not promoting a film.

A little bird told me that La Streep will be one of the honorees next year. Not sure though but that's what i read somewhere in the past three days.
