I lived in mexico till i was 7 and this is the exact same way i lived there, my family being old colony mennonite.Now i live in canada and i live the exact same way any other Canadian does.My point being that alot of mennonites eventually abandon this way of living when they imagrate elsewhere.

I live in the U.S.A, and an hour from where I live, there are two towns called: Lancaster, and New Holland. These towns are full of them. The Amish there are more than the menonites. I was very surprised when I visited them on how they live. No electricity.
Yo vivo en EEUU, y a una hora donde yo vivo hay 2 pueblos que se llaman: Lancaster y Nueva Holanda. Estos pueblos estan llenos de ellos, especialmente mas Amish y despues los menonitas. Conosco sus maneras de vivir. Me parecio muy estano.

@domingoelias1 Muchos menonitas no fueron "llevados" a Bolivia sino que tuvieron que huir de sus tierras, en algunos casos ancestrales, para no sucumbir a la limpieza étnica llevada acabo luego del fin de la segunda guerra mundial. Cabe recordar que son pacifistas y dudo que hayan participado en la guerra. Ahora que son bolivianos tienen derechos igual que cualquier otro boliviano. I lived in mexico till i was 7 and this is the exact same way i lived there, my family being old colony mennonite.Now i live in canada and i live the exact same way any other Canadian does.My point being that alot of mennonites eventually abandon this way of living when they imagrate elsewhere.

I think its great! I am sure like any other group there are all types of people and ways of life within the same "title". There are Mennonites in Oklahoma where I live and in Kansas. I look forward to learning more.

@Osgarmon Aca en EEUU tienen problemas con insesto porque no se casan sino entre ellos mismos y muchos de sus hijos salen deformes por la sangre que es muy acercana a sus propias familias.
Here in the U.S.A, they have problems becasuse of: "Incest". They only marry between themselves and many of their children come out deformed and with mental problems because when they marry their blood are too close to each other.

@supaman890 Segun el Consejo Menonita de Bolivia, hasta el 2008, habia en el pais 52 colonias, cada una de ellas promedio entre 1000 y 6000 colonos, lo que supone unos 200.000 menonitas. Pero siguen emigrando miles de Mexico, pais que parece decidieron abandonar.

Obama's a joke, infact all presidents are jokes, they come and go every 4 to 8 years. In another 4 or 8 years we will have another joke of a president who steals from the American people, like we have had for the past 30 years.
