  • Had the privilege to be 2 feet away from him at Tower Records in London about 15 years ago with him signing cd's for people. As I watched a young woman asked me if he was someone famous. Staggering. A musical entertainer genius really.

  • I love this man. It¨s very marvelous and his songs very, very beatifuls. I never tire to ear him.

  • A song is JUST A SONG until Barry puts his special interpretation on it....then it becomes MAGIC!

  • he knows how to pick a good tune and make it his own, this was "our song"

  • I'm just too young for this.. Cuz I'm just 19 and 2 years ago.. My exlove send me this song and he wanted to tell me.. He want take a chance again with me.. But that time I didn't know much English enough.. And I thought was a song and I never feel it.. And after we broke up.. I relized this song is meant a lot to me... :/

  • Barry is just a doll.;)

  • Is this dude coked up or what??

  • BARRY MANILOW! Great ballad from a great singer and performer! I view Barry Manilow as one of the top two singers of the past 60 years! He deserves great praise! Barry's music is heartfelt, beautifully sung and phrased, and sung with passion.

By the way, that other great singer is another great. His name is Frank Sinatra! These two singers have sung thousands of great songs!

  • An 8 ball per nostril. But hey, It was the 70s.

  • @ExtremePeppers Moron. Read what you responded to.

  • true artist always make it look like they have no idea what they are doing, like nothing is rehearsed. see example here. brilliant!

  • GREAT Barry Manilow standard. No one does it better.

  • der is only one barry manilow... im lucky to know his songs... nit like now a days the singers are just singing for the sake of money but they dont have any talent.

  • 'Foul Play' is one of my favorite movies... Dudley Moore is the best part of it! ;^)

  • well how gooffy is he and then pow he starts singin and those eyes :] along with the song just melt ya heart

  • wow...this just speaks to my whole lilfe...muy lost love..she won't even speak to me...beautiful song...

  • he looks so much like john stamos

  • A pretty sharp performance ... even in a lower key than the original recording. There's no denying that he's a great talent ...

  • Now I want to watch Foul Play!

  • This is my favourite Barry song, but hardly anyone seems to know it. Well, non-fans, at least. First heard it on the movie Foul Play, which got me into his stuff, and then recently used hilariously on Family Guy. Saw him last night in London, but unfortunately he didn't sing this one. Never mind, was still amazing to see a living legend in the flesh.

  • is this auto tuned?? Sounds too good to be live

  • I just saw him Friday in Las Vegas and he is every bit as wonderful today as he was 30 years ago. Absolutely fantastic performance.

  • I have repeat almost ten times

  • Me: I'm ready to take the chance again...

    Random Facebook Friend: what?

Me: I'm ready to put my love on the line...

    Me: With you...

    Random Facebook Friend: wtf?

Me: You sir we're just Barrymanilow'd

  • @shorty519

  • Great voice. I don't believe he is a homosexual.

  • @ejgiv he's not homosexual he has a wife

  • I met Barry years ago. He was as sweet as he could be. My grandmother wanted for me to marry him : ) We love you Barry!

  • Good music!!!!!!

  • There are NO singers out there today of his calibre. He is STILL one of the professionals who gets it right everytime and is also humble. He's like a music machine. What is also incredible is how amazing is voice is just straight off cold like that. He's got near perfect pitch, like an instrument. I really feel for the kids growing up now since music has become part of the whole corporate machine. If there ARE any singers/musicians like this, you really have to go and search for them.

  • @FredericaBimble I sing for Heavy Metal projects, but admire those that can really sing. You are dead on about his pitch and how natural his voice is. He is an amazing talent with beautiful catchy tunes that transcend generations. He is remarkable

  • @FredericaBimble Well the benefit of this guy is that he's versatile. He could be taken like a pop singer but he could also play vegas or go out on tour with soft rock bands. Nobody today is a triple threat like that. Not Ozzy, not Justin Bieber, Britney... its actually pretty dumb, in my honest opinion. Everyone but Bieber couldn't hack it last decade when people were grooming them that way and hid behind President Bush. Then it all fell apart and ever since have been trying for a "comeback."

  • he was very charismatic

  • @islezeus I'm sure that you meant to say Barry "is" very charismatic.

  • @MissEmeraldIsle ha, good one... I stand, corrected.

  • Off course! He was, he is and he will always be veeery charismatic!

  • love this song Barry your a LEGEND LOVE YOU FOREVER XX

  • definatley on coke

  • Charlie Fox and Norman Gimble also wrote ..."Monday, Tuesday, Happy Days. Wednesday, Thursday, Happy days..........",
