Theatre has assigned seating. When you order on-line you do not have the option to choose seats; instead you're given "best available". I ordered tickets several hours ahead of showtime and got Seats in the front row all the way to the side. We got our money back...

I am about 3 months from turning 18 and they didn't allow me or my friends in for a daytime movie.

KC wants to get ppl downtown more, but they block off public areas (power and light) from a population who spends much of their cash for leisure

@PagePlant91 the original theater used to have a daycare for kids in the basement. it seems this theater's tradition is adults only.

I was just at the Theatre Saturday for KC Film Fest. I really enjoyed the fest & AMC theatre. It was very impressive! Cant wait to go back :)

I totally agree! It was well worth the $10. The seats are what make this theater better than the others in the area. They have butt-kickers installed so your chair vibrates in sync with the bass in the movie. It worked well with 'Star Trek'. The experience was very classy. Plus I checked the prices out in the burbs and it's the same during matinee. I'm going back again, and again, and again....
