The Strokes front-man Julian is losing his voice. If he keeps singing in pain he might lose it. The deep/inviting voice is their signature. I think they should stop touring if it's gonna permanently damage one of the band members.

I've seen him pull out the guns for his solo effort on month, singing his ass off, and then another, heard him suck it up on stage with the strokes. you're hearing a lack of effort, not a man in pain.

Im a massive Strokes head. I have all their albums and love 20 to 30 of their songs, and I saw them live at Lollapalooza 2010. Granted I did not get to hear Gratisfaction, Taken For A Fool, Machu Picchu, and Undercover Of Darkness live, I did catch Casablancas when he was not on tour, therefore his singing wasnt worn out and was rather perfect, in comparison to his worn out voice performances on the last month of touring including this shit Bonnaroo gig. suck it roo fans. :)
