Please let me add that even if this album turns out to be a tad less precious than her previous endeavours , it will still be better than most of the dime a dozen pop music. Plus she will always have my respect for her down to earth attitude and wonderful personality which is seemingly robbed of any form of arrogance. Marit Larsen is more importantly a caring and genuine human being, which is what all of us should strive to be.

Well, you can hear her a bit of her sample songs in itunes now! How about going there and checking them out. :) This time, Marit Larsen was working with other people to produce her songs. (As seen from "Making of Spark") So maybe that is why her songs seem a little different. But I still love her songs, nonetheless.

This song is OK, but if the rest of the album is in the same vein then I'm afraid that it won't be much different from the standard singer/songerwriter cliches you hear on the radio every day. Her debut album "Under The Surface" was IMO easily one of the best records of the year with its refreshingly unusual and interesting production(for a pop record), honest lyrics and delightfully unpredictable melodic twists. Sadly it looks she has taken a step back towards the M2M formula instead of one FW.

I was perhaps being a bit harsh. After all, this is still better than most of the other "radio songs". But I still think that this is a step back from the wonderful formula she used for her first album UTS( and to some extent The Chase). My "complaints" are mostly directed at the production, which has become far more smooth and "pop-glossy". I don't find the melody or the lyrics that memorable either. But as I said this is only one of the album's tunes. The rest might be better.
