Joe Mullen talks about using Scanimate to make new high-def graphics for the Got Milk campaign

It is one of the most expensive computer graphics systems ever created- a hybrid of digital and analog computing circuits nearly the size of ENIAC. The system was way ahead of its time when introduced in 1976. If I remember right there were only eight of them made.

The Scanimate is all mine, and as you an see, it works great, and its available in my new studio in Asheville, NC for tours or to do jobs!

Also, do you by any chance have some stock footage of backgrounds you used for the titles kind of the gold background with the switcher wipe to create a shine? the word thrill-o-vision comes to mind

Mr Sieg, I was wondering, is this Scanimate yours? I mean, it must have been retired at some point, and might you have acquired it? If (BIG IF) I ever create a production company, I would love to learn how to create a logo reminiscent of the 70s-80s using period equipment. And considering this is rare to find, it would be very unique, and exactly as Joe describes, it has a definite analogue look you simply cannot emulate properly
