If you listen to the original vocals they were clearer esp for jacky; jacky live and jacky recorded sound completely different. And again if you listen carefully you can hear the unfiltered breathing esp in Regine. That kind of rapid breathing would never make it to recordings. I'm not sure of regine, but you can watch some videos of Jacky live esp in his younger years like in this video. He can sing very well live and it sounds different from his recorded tracks.
